No. My people are too cheap to give me an office. They just moved our entire section at work to remote working. Now I have to have an extra phone line installed (tried getting them to just get me another cell, but for some reason they didn't like that idea), and need to figure out a somewhat permanent office setting at home (the plus side being...I can deduct that off my taxes). Will also get Internet reimbursed. Yay. Time to get 6MB pointed at me.
The plus side, when I *do* go in, I'll have an office with a door now. LOL.
Meeting was over the phone. But half the time we're IM'ing all day cuz that's how they keep track of us. If Zoom doesn't respond within 10 minutes, it must mean he's off doing something he shouldn't be.
After 15, they call. I've tested this. LOL.

Spent too much time tonight doing quests on Kashyyyk again. Really, as vulnerable as my SWG toon is, he shouldn't be out alone, but I prefer to play my Calamari over my Wookiee and Ithorian.

A few years ago they started an "open door policy" where they literally went a little over the edge and nobody was allowed to have a walled office with a door...including the CEO. I can only imagine she had a cubicle that was no less than an acre in size with attack dogs at every entrance, though.

Yep... When I worked for HP they were in the process of implementing the 'no office' policy.
Instead of having offices, the 'high ups' had cubicles with 12 ft high walls and doors...
(If the wall is to high to see over; does it matter that it does not reach the ceiling?)

I had this great idea -- I'd bring my work stuff down into the computer room, thinking additional screens would be able to keep my attention better than a single one.
But now I'm seeing that the majority of my waking time would be spent down here, even though I'd probably be able to mix
work
into nearly every waking hour of my being, thus making me more productive to a level unheard of.
But I'd technically be stuck in a 10 ft. x 10 ft. cubicle for the rest of my life...and the thought frightens me.
