Ya know I was over at the Oregon Board and they had a thread on creating a title for their boards and I came over here and looked, almost everyone has a title for their boards but we're just "Southern Colorado Fan Force". We need a title, any suggestions?
If you're wondering what I'm refering to, click on the "Southwest" at the the top of the screen.

Actually, Denver's is just Rocky Mountain Fan Force...I guess we just followed suit?
And, if we get a website...our name can be in COLOR too!!!

Title? It's...already...called...the Southern Colorado FanForce. That's like saying, "Hey! We need to rename the Rocky Mountain FanForce."

Maybe he means a location...there is The Outer Rim, Echo Base, Mos Alba, etc...
Here are some planets from my Planets and Moons book that are desert like...
Of course, there's Tatooine - desert. inhabited by Tusken Raiders and Jawas
Telti- Sand. Droid factory. (The New Rebellion)
Rafa V - Dry Sand. (The Lando Calrissian Adventures)
Barab 1 - Home of the Barabels - We have a Barabel (right JKB?)
Aridus - Desert, Lava Pits, Home of the Chubbits, They look like a lizardish Hobbitts. (this planet is only found in the classic late 1970's comic books)
Anoth - Rocky Peaks, lowlands, home of a hidden Republic Base (Jedi Academy Trilogy, Dark Empire)
Dathomir - Mountains, Deserts - One of my favorite planets! We have Night Sisters in our group! Home of Rancors! (We almost have one of those too)
Kessel - Desolate salt flats and craters, home of the Imperial prison (Pueblo is surrounded by prisons)
Korriban - Deserts, Home of the Sith Academy and all sorts of cool Old Republic stories.
Personally, if we had to have a location I would vote for Dathomir or Korriban.

How about "The Chafed Backside of the Great Plains Fan Force" or "The Mid-North American Arid Steppes Fan Frorce"...
On second thought, I kinda like SCRUFFY too.

Actually...
SCRUFFY is original (I have not seen any other groups using it)... And it reflects that we are our own group.
Further, its a fun name and has ties to one of the more memorable lines in the original Star Wars trilogy. So its far from bland.
What I like about Star Wars is that it is fun, and SCRUFFY reflects that funness.
I'm far more concerned about the fun than the cool...

I don't know what we are anymore.
I'm up for having URDLOD in big red letters across my chest on a t-shirt, though.
And then I can get URDLOD tattooed across my stomache in Old English lettering.
And get a big sticker that says URDLOD big enough to plaster across the back window of my car.
