Official out of game Star Wars RPG Thread.

all righty close enough to majority for me. The era will be Rebellion. I will start another thread for actual gameplay. That thread will be for in character game play only. And this thread will be for anything else relating to the game.

> You will be starting out as level one characters
> You have no official allegiance, you will aquire this alleginace through gameplay. Kind of like Luke in Star Wars. He was a farmer on Tatooine with no allegiance to anything. He had sympathies for the rebellion but was not a member yet.
> No Jedi, they were killed, please refer to Episode 3 for details. You can be Force-sensitive but be unaware of it as being such. Please indicate if you want to eventually become a Jedi.
> Your characters are unaware of the greater machinations of galactic government. You are only aware of the broad strokes of Galactic politics.
>>>>Alderaan blew up, this was due to an accident involving some type of super weapon the Rebels were developing on the supposedly weaponless, peaceful planet. Former Senator Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan is wanted for crimes against the Empire.

OK these rules are to make the game more fun, you will be the main cast in the next great Star Wars adventure and Im the writer, director and exectuvie producer. (BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Sorry.)

Excellent. OK, we will be using the new Saga Edition rules so please acquire a copy if you dont already have one. I will review the rules and add/delete any homebrew as I see fit...unless one of you wants to run it so I can play. (For the moment I'll assume no one does)
So what Era does everyone want to play in?
Old Republic
Rise of The Empire
Rebellion
Legacy
(Sorry but I dont want to play New Jedi Order)
There is another idea that we were going to do a long time ago but never got around to doing it. Everyone plays a main character from the saga and we "play" the movies to see just how bad things get screwed up.
So everyone weigh in.

if you expect anything more than a sentence or two, it would be once a day towards the end of the day until about May. If that's cool, then I am still down. Maybe I can a support character of some sort.
