	Now that the wedding and C4 are done, there needs to be more focus on preproduction for the fanfilm. The people who have been independantly working or planning within their own departments (Costumes/ Sets/ Props/ FX) need to touch base and make sure our ideas arent running over each other. For example, Joe and I seem to have different ideas on how to present "noblity" on screen than do Kelli and John. We cant have a rush of building or debate the day before the camera rolls. Not everyone needs to be at one big meeting. Maybe things could be split up into a few small get togethers. Or some way to discuss the particulars over the forum - IN DETAIL- without having our ideas stolen by hungry eyes. But something needs to happen SOON. Alfredo- Would you be avaliable to meet with me and Joe to fill us in on the set plans? Kelli- storyboards? Knowing which parts of the sets will be seen on screen would help. Joe also needs pictures of you- preferably a little younger, like a few years before we met you- in order to do the drawing. PM or email them to me, and I can get them to him. John- Joe and I have done another round of dollarstore/Wal-mart browsing for things to fill out Steve's residence and Kelli's garden toys. We havnt started putting money into many things yet. I'd like you as producer to come take a look at some of these places with me or us so you can see what we have in mind. Reanna- where are we on geting access to Manito Park and the Davenport? Director Guy Who's Name I Can't Remember- Any clue you could give us on what kind of atmoshpere you are going for would be helpful. All I have to go on is John's diologue. How are you interpreting it? Joe says you're supposed to be moving away by the end of the summer. What's the f'ing schedule? Everybody Who Expects To Use A Lightsaber- We still dont have them started. I am looking for alternatives to lathed emmiters. The guy I work with who was thinking about getting a metal lathe wont be getting one after all. I have started work on objects that can be used for the study and diner room. Joe has put together a kickass dinnerware plan. But while we know know what items are needed from the last meeting at Frankie Doodles, but so far there is no united artistic vision. (As a positive side-effect of this, Steve's going to end up with a very cosmopoliton study befitting someone who's travelled more than John). The longer it takes to get everyone pointed in the same direction, the more we'll have to rely on found-objects as props and set items. 	Heh, it's okay, I have a hard time with everyone's names too. :P It's Stan, BTW. From my end, I've provided Kelli with a lined script to aid her in storyboarding. However, since that was in the midst of her wedding planning earlier this spring, I'm unsure if she's had any time to work on them so far. As for atmosphere, we're obviously doing a formal environment for the entire film up until after the fight. We need to have warm tones throughout--golds, oranges, reds. The exception to this is Bayard's home and props which can be done in cooler tones--blues, silvers--and highlighted in places with browns and the warmer colors of the rest of the film. After the fight, the props and environment become less-refined, and the colors must be more muted and earthy. Schedule. As far as where I'm going to be when, I don't have any idea yet. I've interviewed for a job that will require me to leave the area if I get it. However, they gave me no definite timeframe on when I'll hear back. I'll let you guys know as soon as I do, whether or not that panned out. As far as The Corellian's schedule, I've worked out a rough estimate of how much time will be required for filming each scene. I'll review that again by this weekend. Meetings: Sunday afternoons (after 2:00) work best for me right now. If anyone needs to meet with me one on one, please PM me and we'll work something out. 	Stan... Stan... Stuh...ann... As I recal, Steve's colors were blue and gold (a warm color). I've picked up an item in these colors for his inkwell. 	Nope, not remembering things wrong. I'm just saying he needs to be surrounded by cooler colors for the first part of the film, but warm accents are still needed to keep the look consistent. 	The fanfilm will take us a total of 7 days to shoot. (10 if you take into account the weekend or so we head off with Steve for the montage) The days range from 6hrs to 15hrs for a total of almost 70 hours. Good stuff: I've factored in Meal times, Travel times, and Murphy times Bad stuff: We need a garden for a minimum of 3 full days (a little more than 30 hours total) Workaround stuff: I HIGHLY doubt Manito will put up with us being in their garden for 3 full workdays. However, (and this is something I need to discuss with Reanna) it may be more palatable for them if we instead worked on the fanfilm in shorter bites over a longer period of time. The idea of working with and coralling the daytime summer crowds at Manito is also pretty daunting. The only other option as I see it at this time is to find a garden that will allow us to use it for the three long days we require. We need to discuss this. I may also be able to make some of the scenes that currently take place in the garden work elsewhere. I'll talk this over with John when we get the chance. 	I could host a meeting at my place on the 9th (Saturday). That might be the best way to show what I have already for potential props and graphic images, and maybe even some stuff that can be salvaged to make the sets. That way something can get in motion before the offcial meeting on the 15th.
