Well, per our discussion at yesterday's meeting, Kelli and I will be trying to tape the Family Guy Star Wars Special tonight, and bring it for everyone who didn't get to see it, or wants to see it again grin . Plus Halo 3 comes out on Tuesday, Nick may be able to get his hands on a 360 and a copy of the game, I may be able to as well. And Smudge wants to do another Saber day. It has been suggested that this take place at Smudge and Sabrina's house on either Saturday and Sunday... so what do we think? So say we all?

So say we all!

Either day is fine for us!

Ok, well I taped it last night, and it was pretty funny, can't wait to see it again. Let's let everyone put in their say on what day works best and we'll make a decision by Wednesday at the latest to give everyone enough time to plan.

It would depend on what time this little get together is going to start.
Any ideas as to what time?

Oh, also smudge, after seeing your collection of custom blasters, Stan and I left feeling a bit inspired. We were thinking that it might be fun if we had a prop blaster building workshop where we could all share ideas and techniques and work on cool projects, I know I've already got some pretty good ideas for one grin

Oh Gods, twist my arm............

Actually it is my hope that such things will become regular events, especially when we get the downstairs greatroom and the shop up and running!

But...yeah I'm all for it!

Hey smudge, is this the same as the jango blaster you used when you made your custom piece? It's a hasbro electronic "lights and sounds" blaster circa 2002. It took me forever to find it, but I know it's not the rubies cheapo one.

Also, something I'd like a bit of help in is how to use two part epoxy and basically gluing parts together. Also probably some help with priming and painting.

Yes it is the same one. I'd be more than happy to help in any way I can.

So, how does this sound, Saturday mid afternoon, Halo, prop and costuminf discussion and saber practice.

Yep, we all know this will be so hard for you, to be working on blasters wink

Alright, it sounds like Saturday is the day, so what time shall we invade smudge's abode?

Any day is as good/bad as any other. I'll probably be working that day, so count on me showing up late... 7:30pm if it's a day shift, after 11pm if it's a closing shift.

...of course, if I wind up with an openning shift.....

I probably won't be able to get a 360 w/Halo 3.
I know where a set are, but he won't let me "borrow" them.
I tried talking the people at the house into letting me have the meeting there, but everyone is leaving town Saturday.

P.S. - There is a Halo 3 party Friday night (tonight). Not sure what John is doing, but if he could the the 360 and game tonight, we could have the 8 player Infection (zombie) going!
Call me with questions or if you are interested in coming tonight.

Friday night may be doable for me, but people with my number may have to call me if the decision is made after 4PM (I will be either on my way home, asleep or glued to the TV). I'll try to keep checking this thread.

Why only Zombie? is that the demo?

Is something happenning tonight?

If so, some one please give me a call.

As things stand, I work until 8pm tomorrow/Saturday. Hopefully that won't be too late.....

Kelli's working till 5pm on Saturday, but she can just drive in after she gets off, I'm still waiting to hear back from Will to see if he can bring his 360. I checked the Coeur d'Alene Hastings today and they were out of copies, so if anyone can secure a copy, post here and let me know ASAP. Also, Cd'A people, I'll need a ride in tomorrow if I'm to arrive before 5... my car's back in the shop again.
