I have posted images of the Dejarik figures from the Sideshow Collectable version of the table to this address...
http://s202.photobucket.com/albums/aa84/JediClone/dejarik/
Does anyone else think these would be good enough for use at SpoCon?
They're not perfect, but they can easily be vector-traced and put on Shrinkydink paper for use in a live version of the game. I have more accurate images of *some* of the monsters, but they shot at conflicting angles and are either incomplete or too dark for quick traces (They'd have to be traced by hand, which would take too much time).
Note that with Shrinkydink's shrink-factor, the biggest the large figure would get is about 3.25".

Now that's very cool. I haven't thought of those little guys since I was a kid.
Is there a game board available? If it needs to be made, time is running out fast.
EDIT:
By the way, Chris, are you CR yet or what?
P.S. Do you by any chance know why there are 4 stars by my screen name????

I have a LARGE image of a weathered Dejarik tabletop. All I'd have to do is print it or ask John to do it. All I need to do is figure out what size to print it at.
Since the gamo pieces will be smallish, I want to do a gameboard that is also sized for my Astromech figures. That would work for those Unleashed Battlepack figures too.
I hope to find a small plastic dartboard (soon) that I can insert the Dejarik board into. I'll do another thriftstore run on a few days.

Hey Chris, Give me a ring 263 06 03. I need your full name (for SpoCon) and re-confirm schedule.
Plus, get Joe's number and see if he wanted to be on any panels (Props, etc.)
Alfredo, I left a message on your phone.

Nick,
Just so you know, I sent in my payment to get into the con a few days ago (would have still liked to hand someone some cash, but oh well).
as far as my schedule goes, I want in on the Munchkin tourny (which will be multiple hours if I dont win the first entry game) and I'm semi-commited to the Spokanitna Casino thing. So I dont know if that gives me space to be in another panel besides the one you already put me on.
And speaking of the Casino... IS ANYONE BRINGING POKER CHIPS?

Well, as far as I'm concerned, I'm far too busy with other things for SpoCon and Alfredo discouraged me on the deco , I also haven't been able to get in contact with the guy who's supposed to be running the Casino this year. So I'm not planning on doing anything anymore. Too much other stuff for me to do at this point, but let's keep it in mind for next year when I've got more time.

Sorry to have discouraged you. That was not my intention. You seemed so excited about the whole idea. I thought that I mentioned that I needed some time to try and figure a way around the space limitations. I also needed some budget figures, and actual drawn concepts from you.
Neither of us seems to have kept in touch on this subject, but I have been doing some figuring. I might even have an idea that could allow us to put something up would be stable, despite not being able to anchor anything directly to the walls.
Ever hear of a "T" truss? I can make some that would be fairly lightweight, and not be terribly expensive. Could solve most of our problems.
I'll PM you some of the details that I've come up with.
