This is just like the one for funerals, only for weddings!
If you could have one JW track played at your wedding what would it be?
For me Binary Sunset or Across the stars, just to be sappy!
Non JW would be Breaking of the Fellowship from FOTR,or May It Be!
Or Come What May from Moulin Rouge!
Though image walking down the isle to Duel Of The Fates!

I'm getting married next year, and we're having
The Throne Room
as we leave the church (played by live instruments!)

It's the track when Luke and Han get their medals at the end of Episode IV

I was thinking just like you were...Binary Sunset or Across the Stars, though part of the Meadow Picnic or Yoda's theme might be nice.

I was going to suggest that!
Yeah, Throne Room or Across the Stars for me.
(Or maybe Imperial March. Heh.)

How about Great Augie when the bride comes down the aisle?

Nice idea, but too fast. She'd be bolting down that aisle and trip.
Maybe that can be for outside, with the bouquet-throwing etc.

Stick a Jar-Jar outfit on her, and you're sorted!
Or she could walk at half speed

"Cadillac of the Skies" from
Empire of the Sun
. The pace is appropriate and the music is fittingly beautiful.

Ah, this is much happier!
Personally, I'd stay away from "Across the Stars" on my wedding day. I wouldn't want to muscially imply that my marriage is doomed from the start.
I think I'd stick with the Han and Leia theme from ESB. Specifically, the version during the medical frigate scene at the end. Very uplifting, very moving. I kinda choke up sometimes listening to it... *sniffle*

Palpatine: Kind of dangerous, that bottomless pit in the throne room. Is it too much to ask for some guardrails?
Lemelisk: Guardrails would mean a 200% budget increase, your Majesty.
Palpatine: Oh well, I'll just be careful.

I'd like a version of Across the Stars without the whole ominous part that a friend of mine described as the two of them having a fight. I mean, the track is just that good.
Maybe I could record myself playing it on the piano for one of the dances at the reception...but that'd be pretty short. I dunno, but I want that one there in some form. Maybe I could just revert to Meadow Picnic or one of those...but Across the Stars is the best version of it on the CD.

I'd have Imperial March play at the reception while folks ate. May it Be from LOTR be my wedding march, and Across the Stars play as we leave the Church.
