	Round One of raking the leaves from my backyard took two hours this afternoon. I listened to my iPhone on random shuffle, and the third track that came up was "The Battle Of Hoth". What a great leaf-raking cue!

	Nah, it was just the conversation du jour, so I figured I'd pipe in! //takes a pull o' grog// Things are well w/ me... I've decided to be more deliberate at spending time online and staying connected w/ people, so of course one of my first stops back had to be Teh Tavern! I've also finally caved into the whole facebook thing, so feel free to friend me (if you forget my last name, just PM me). It's been quite a while... when last I was here, I was working at Aetna trying to break into the Actuarial department. I was able to do so (about 2.5 yrs ago), and have been working as an Actuary since. You know all those evil people they have been talking about in the news? The ones who work for Health Insurance companies trying to find out new ways to rip people off so that we can line our own pockets w/ all the cash? Well, I'm one of them (being facetious, of course) I really like the work (lots of analytics), and spent most of my time pricing health insurance (Individual Market). I just recently changed jobs to Connecticare (local CT and Western MA company), and now work in Reserving: basically, trying to predict future claims and calculating how much $$ we need to put aside to pay them each month. Sounds boring, I know, but the math involved is quite interesting... Other than that, my son is 3, I got #2 due in January (a girl... already my hair is turning grey!), and I've been working at building a church plant in my home town (Praxis Church). That's about it.
