My only problem with that cue is that it resembles Immolation (With Our Lives, We Give Life) too much. But it is still a very good cue.

My favorites:
1. Anakin vs. Obi-Wan
2. Anakin's Betrayal
3. Star Wars and the Revenge of the Sith (mainly the part immediately following the main title theme)
The rest I don't want to list.

"Anakin's Dream." Great track! (The unreleased sections make it a little greater.)

I rather like Grievous' pomp theme (as in Grievous Speaks to Lord Sidious or the opening track) as well as Star Wars and the Revenge of the Sith. I don't like Battle of the Heroes that much because people have pointed out it's a ripoff of Duel of the Fates D:

RE: What is your favorite ROTS track?
ROTS desperately needs a complete soundtrack release. Some of the best musical moments in the film are not on the OST (Plans for the twins, Padme's funeral music, the Star Destroyer scene, the missing segment of Anakin's Betrayal...).
As far as the OST goes, the only thing that really disappoints me about A New Hope/End Credits is the segue from the Force theme into the end credits music. There just doesn't seem to be enough of a crescendo, it's really quick, and the key change is not very smooth. I've always felt that the beginning music of the end credits should be in G Major so that the Force theme flows much more naturally into it. The Throne Room/End Titles from ANH does this, and it works beautifully.
So yeah, that's why A New Hope/End Credits doesn't get my vote. I suppose I'll have to go with The Immolation Scene. Beautiful work there. It's so haunting.

I would have to say the opening track, "Revenge of the Sith", is my favorite, because of the battle/dogfights music. I think it's one of the high points of the soundtrack, of course, Anakin v. Obi-Wan is good as well.

"A New Hope" is da winnah.
IMO, one of the fundamental flaws in the way the PT was scored is the utter lack of the main theme. I understand the argument that "it's Luke's theme, and Luke's not in the PT except at the end of the last movie", but the problem is that this theme is used as the main title for EVERY film in the series, including the PT.
I'm not saying it should have been wall to wall Skywalker March, but the few times the main theme pops up DO feel more like Star Wars than the rest of the PT.

My favorite tracks were "A New Hope and End Credits" and "Battle of the Heroes". On a side note, was there ever a track for the music where Palpatine fights Windu?

The score for the "Confronting The Chancellor" scene was not on the OST, but I do believe that most of it can be patched together from video game soundtracks.

Can't believe "The Immolation Scene" doesn't have more votes. Blasphemy! It has such a haunting and tragic beauty about it that it's always the first track I gravitate to.

I voted for "The Immolation Scene" three years ago (3 years since ROTS! holy cow!) when I made this poll. I do probably lean towards the Lament ("Anakin's Betrayal") these days.
