After finally buying the PotC scores, I must say, they are both great! I particularly love CotBP. Bedalt's use of "He's a Pirate" really gets the adreniline going.

We're about to drop Revenge of the Sith into the queue at work. Finally, some decent music for Fun Friday (getting a mite tired of Fergilicious)!

Actually the Harry Potter soundtrack helped get me through work today. It is my opinion that John Williams can about perfectly capture the theme of a movie through his music.

John Debney's Cutthroat Island.

Easily on my top 10 list. This is such an amazing score!

Grindhouse: Planet Terror, by Robert Rodriguez and others

Great throwback to John Carpenter's eighties scores. The main title has been stuck in my head since I saw the flick.

Also, I've been listening to the Indiana Jones scores a lot recently. The sooner we get expanded/complete releases of Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade the better.

David Arnold's The Musketeer

Certainly not the most rewarding score by David Arnold. The action and romantic material is decent, but the is album is completely worth it for the amazingly uplifting and heroic title theme that appears a few times throughout.

YES, he is awesome at doing that. Which songs did you listen to, if you don't mind me asking? I have a cd of selected songs from the 4 movies so far.
