I don't have the soundtrack CD, but music is certainly a winner in the game. New FF composer Hitoshi Sakimoto has done a great job even though his style is much different from that of Nobuo Uematsu. There are still many "FF'isms" but overall, the score is much more epic in nature than simple and personal. While not as outstanding as Uematsu's scores, Sakimoto has still crafted a wonderful score that I often times find myself humming while playing the game. Here's to hoping they keep Sakimoto around!

Inside is an import book/music store that has a HUGE selection of video game soundtracks, which is where I found my Collector's Edition Final Fantasy XII soundtrack. It comes in this huge case, like a DVD boxed set. I have most of the tracks on my iPod and I listen to it a lot at work. It's well worth the money I spent on it.
