According to his official site, David Arnold will team up again with Michael Apted to score the
Voyage of the Dawn Dreader
. Arnold and Apted worked on
Amazing Grace
and
The World is Not Enough
.
This is interesting news. I'm intrigued to hear Arnold's take on fantasy (where he'll most likely leave his electronics out), but it'll certainly be a switch compared to Harry Gregson-Williams. HGW score to the first film was excellent as far as I'm concerned. It took me a few listens to really enjoy it, but I now find it phenomenal. It's a different approach to fantasy then we're used to, I think because for the most part, it's incredibly restrained and subtle.

Haha, best mistake I've made in a long time.
Harry Gregson-Williams will be doing Caspian with Andrew Adamson again. From what I remember, production on the Dawn Treader will begin soon. Disney is planning to overlap the making of the films in order to get them out faster.

I saw this the other day. I for one am really excited for Arnold to get back to the adventure genre which made me a fan of his in the first place.

I think the only track I loved in LWW was "The Battle" just for that opening sweep once the music flares up.
And I'm fixing the title cuz it's bugging me.
