I was just wanting to see if anyone elsehad ever thought of how beautiful Across the Stars would sound with words sanskrit or not. So if you have or come up with any lyrics POST!

My lyrics are from Padme''s point of view almost like a laluby that she might have sung or hummedbefore bed or if Anakin had a bad dream again. These are the lyrics that i thought she might put to her laluby during the hardest timesd of her life with Anakin.Almost a pledge of love to him despite the terrible war they are stuck the midst of.

Across the Stars

I love you now and forever yes my treasure I Love you
Hold me in your arms take me away from here
my love I love you now and forev ever yes my treasure I still do
Days of Darkness entwine us forever dividing us
I love you now and forever yes my treasure i love you
It pains me to see you standing there without me
I love you now and forever yes my treasue I still do
I need you I love you tender always safe in your arms
I love you now and forever yes my treasure i love you
Keep me safe and unscathed from dark things...
interlude
Darkness twisting and turning pulls us apart oh my love
Hold me never let me leave you
I need you to be there for me and always catch me when i fall
I love you now and forever yes my treasure i love
Don't leave me here all alone , kiss me , hold me, love me
Always i'll love you forever
Mo matter where no matter when I'll always love you
Never leave me never let me go away
Save me I'll hold you strong and we will go on oh my love
Never let me go oh my love
No matter where you are be it across the stars my love will find you

Is thaty a bad thing? So what, 13 i love yous( that's not bad my older sis says i love at least, I have counted, 33 times before she says goodbye to her boy friend who lives in Iowa. the original was written when i was 7and when your 7 you say i love you alot.Honestly i didn't change it a whole lot, but enough other wise it would have been able to be sung with the music. I 'd say for a 7 year old i did a nice job! happy oh and i forgot a "you" once so ooops my bad!

It's just that AOTC is 6 years old, as is "Across The Stars". So if you are 16 now, the youngest you could have specifically written lyrics for it would be 10.

And I actually prefer ATS to remain a non-song. happy

Sometimes (most times, actually), score music is better-off being score and not having lyrics. The sound of the music is what makes it, not the words first and the sound second.

Not even going to click that link. A few of my favorite score pieces have been ruined by reading lyrics that someone has made up to go with them. Now all I hear when listening to that music is those damnable lyrics!

I agree with General Kenobi -- "Across the Stars" is best left as is.

They call it a score for a reason- no words. Score is there for times when a character is talking or when it punctuates the action on the screen. Lyrics ruins this effect.

although a agree with all of you about the score being nice just as it is it is nice to think about it and what it means.. even though the meaning is expressed beutifully through the music(I would know- piano for 8 years) i mean some of the other pieces have words as well... chanted in sanskrit...i'm runnin out of excuses but hey age is a good one!well i guess i rest my case u guys win no problem! happy
