Some of those other folks that had posted here I had looked up their public profiles and when they last posted- a bunch haven't posted since 2005 or 2006! So I think that is what happened to some of the Maul fans, they left Force.net.
BTW, have you read Shadow Hunter yet? Its a pretty good Maul novel.

That stinks... I guess it's just us hard core fans *shrugs* MORE FOR US!! 
I've read all the Maulie books - including the ebook(s). The only comic book one I haven't is the one where Maul comes back as a cyborg. I refuse to read that one! Besides, what's the point of reading something that isn't cannon?? Especially when it concerns our favorite horned Sith Lord  There is a few mentions of Maul in the Outbound Flight novel by Tim Zahn. Good book, btw. Other than that...the only good stuff to read about Maul is the books, his own comic...and the slowly disappearing fan fictions out there. Glad mine is still up and readable! Eh...you'll find that at Sith Chicks. I'm not gonna post the url...just in case. The mod's you know They can be sticklers! lol

dang my youtube video link didn't work... i had originally posted a link to a video with a person at the star wars thing
in disneyland handing flowers to an actor dressed up as darth maul as a joke. and he just looks at them and then crushes them.

OT...but just to explain... I live in on campus dorms and there's wifi all over campus. So, the techies got it into their head that they'll upgrade the wifi over easter vacation. Now, I JUST did a complete restore of my laptop because I installed the service pack 1 for Vista (yeah, I know it's evil) and it completely blocked my wireless LAN aka not internet! So, after the restore I got my WLAN working again...just to have the wifi go offline. Well, they were supposed to be done by the weekend...but instead...I couldn't get online...and discovered others could ARRRGGHHH!!! So, after 2 weeks of no wifi and relying on the shared computers in the commons, I decided to restore my pc yet again. Luckily I make a restore point...so I set it back to there. It worked! I got wifi..until I installed Zonealarm and THAT blocked my internet! WHAT THE HEY! Anyway, I uninstalled it and low and behold, after restarting my laptop... I have internet!! WOOHOO!! But that means absolutely NO WAY am I going to install any windows updates! It already started messing with my pc before all this garbage (programs didn't work or disappeard, laptop wouldn't talk with printer/scanner, etc...) All fixed. I'm back
Soo... Maul...yeah... *sigh* What a hottie

With mine, I had the connection problems whenever it rained. But with Verizon FIOS, I lose connection whenever a fly farts. So sometimes getting a new connection is good, as FIOS is faster, but sometimes its bad, as I lose my connection an awful lot.
Plus the connection still goes bad whenever it rains. 
And yes, Maul is a hottie 
Sometimes I wish I could go into that Phantom Menace Movie.... but I wouldn't be sure what Maul's reaction to me would be *sigh*

Yeah, same here with Maul... If he showed up at my door and basically said "Let's go", well needless to say, there'd be a massive search party out looking for me but there'd be no trace of me anywhere or ever again. I'd be off where now Terran has gone before *ahem* pardon the pun lol
There's still a few of us left - not as much as there used to be, that are still hard core Maul junkies Glad I found another one! Ever been to the DMEB2??

I would also travel with Maul for a couple of months, but I would have him Mind-Trick my parents so they would not freak out over me being gone a few months. Plus, one of the things I would like to do would be to meet his Master, just out of curiosity.
Though I am a huge Maul fan, I would probably wish to be on the level of friend for a while before I would become any sort of girlfriend. He would most likely an extremely violant man, extremely possesive, and prone to fits of terrible rage. So while I know would love to travel with him, I would end up be hesitant to become more then that. But sometimes those types have other ideas. I wouldn't be surprised if during that time we traveled together, he developed a crush on me. It would raise things to interesting levels, and I love experiancing novel situations, but I also would feel stressed too. Can one safely tell a Sith Lord "No?" if he wants you to be his girlfriend? Probably not. But I don't have the social skills to effectively articulate a good "No" response, so I would probably end up saying nothing, and he would take that as an affirmation to be a girlfriend.
I have been over to DMEB2, and I generally like the site, but I do not really read much of the stories there. I do not mind violance in a story, but I tend to draw the line at sexual content. But most of the ones that I have read there (I read the ones under a certain rating) are very good.
I have been thinking of writing a Maul story actually, if I can ever get around to starting it.
I just have to think of a decent ending.
