That probably wouldn't bother me, as I don't tend to be very social either! LOL
I also don't like to speak much, I like to listen and I get my info with observation.
So he would probably like me a lot because I don't like to talk much and I would probably leave him alone a lot too.

Yeah, my entire family finds my attraction to DM rather...well, not quite right, if you know what I mean. Almost everything SW I own is Maul lol Well, atleast in this country anyway (got a ton more SW stuff in the Netherlands...which I need to get over here *sigh*) I'm a wee bit more obsessed, I'll admit - even here lol

My parents probably wouldn't care if I did that, but I am not sure about that 100% since I never collected that much of anything. But my mom likes to collect chicken and cow related stuff so she probably wouldn't bat an eye

And I agree. As conservative Christians, my family would see Maul is evil (well he is, but he was raised that way, so he doesn't really know the difference) and a demon (how they could see that, I have no clue!! He's an alien for Godsake! lol) I think if my parents looked up and found me standing close with Darth Maul in the flesh, they'd stare wide eyed at him, frozen, I think. They might try to cast him off as if a demon but I think he'd laugh at them for trying...and utterly failing. And with a few goodbye's, I'm off to his ship and a galxy far, far away... and honestly, after the life I've had here, I'd probaby not look back. He wouldn't like my parents either, but I'm thinking that even if I had hybrid children, they'd love them just the same...that is if this highly over protective Sith Lord allows contact... What belongs to a Sith, stays with a Sith.

It isn't bad to find Maul interesting, heck, I find him super cool and the best Star Wars character ever!
But I make sure as a Christian that my fascination with Maulie doesn't get in the way of loving the Lord. That is, I make sure that God comes first, and everything else second. So I make sure that I put boundries on how much attention something gets.
I also don't see Maulie as a demon but as an alien. (which he actually is) Real demons don't really have a physical body, they are spiritual beings, and plus from the accounts that have been given about what they look like, they are very hidious and deformed. But paradoxically they can also look very very beautiful when they want to, to the point where folks are tempted to worship them.
I think probably what your folks are worried about with your fascination with him, is how deep it goes and how you see him as. I think they are probably worried that your fascination with him would lead you into the occult and worse.

My mother if she met Maul, would probably say "Ultimately if that is your choice to go out with him, fine, I won't stand in your way. But tonight since you are going out on a date with him, be sure you take the cell phone in case you need to call home. And I'll give you some money in case he takes you out to eat somewhere, because he shouldn't have to pay for your half of the bill." My mother would most likely get really excited since I found a guy, and would make me go to the hairdressers to get my hair done, and would make me dress up in pretty clothes. And later after only a few dates, she would start talking stuff about "when you and Maul get married...." as I know she definately will.
She would probably joke about "Its gonna be painful pushing those babies out if they have little horns on their heads LOL!" Yes Mom.
