Let's hope for lots of wonderful A/P in the new Clone Wars cartoon series in 2008! ....and I officially and sincerely third that particular sentiment, for sure and certain, and hey - whether it ends up being a minute, two minutes, five or ten or however much A/P action they'll doubtless have in there at some point, perhaps the main thing here really is that it'll surely end up being true quality time, and they'll work hard to give us something truly especial and dearly cherished and wonderfully sweet, tender and intimately adorable....we've already had it to at least some extent, after all, and even though maybe relatively speaking it might not at first seem like much....still, though, maybe what matters most of all and certainly what I tend to take the most comfort in by far and what I do find reassuring enough, anyway, is simply knowing that....there surely will be at least some A/P tender lovin' and intimate-affection moments in there, great or small, fleeting or prolonged....it will be there at all, then, and that may very well be the paramount thing anyway. 	Hi guys! Did you all get anything exciting Star Warsy for Christmas? I got a couple things that I was excited about. I got the 2 Target exclusive Galactic Heroes dioramas (Yavin hanger set w/ Leia/Luke/Biggs/X-wing & Jabba's Palace.) Best thing I got though was THE STAR WARS VAULT by Stephen Sansweet! Seriously EVERY collector needs this thing! It's AMAZING! I felt like a kid on a treasure hunt going through all of the pages. The book is filled w/ gobs of amazing reproductions of cool, impossible to find collectibles like limited run posters (the holy grail ones that you always read about,) tickets to sneak screenings, and cool foreign advertisements. They also have reproductions of the first few pages of George Lucas's first draft of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. Also included are 2 audio CDS that contain special stuff from STAR TOURS, cast & Lucas interviews from 1977, Stuff about the rereleases, audio advertisements, cast interviews from AOTC including Samuel L. Jackson and Hayden Christensen, Carrie Fisher singing from the god awful STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL (included in the book are the script pages that contain the lyrics - LOL!) and tons of other goodies! They've got a bunch of nice nods to fans towards the end of the book also. This is THE bible for collectors the way that the ultra special edition of the costume book was for Costume fans of STAR WARS. Amazon has them for $53 - if you got any extra Christmas money - I highly recommend getting one of these - they're limited editions and are worth EVERY penny! 	I got THE STAR WARS VAULT too, PLJ - unfortunately, I won't be able to read it until I get back from my trip! I also got a Vader shirt by Mark Ecko, and I'm expecting something SW from my best friend as well.

	We-ell, now, as for me, I suppose I didn't necessarily get so much in the way of any SW swag this time around, even though I did admittedly put stuff like that beautifully shiny and shmexy-looking and positively glorious Prequel coffeetable book, the whole prequel compendium-of-sorts as I recall, written by Pabs and someone else whose name escapes me just at the moment....I know I surely did put that one down on the ol' list, and actually even just for the sake of asking and also because nothing was obviously lost by doing so, I did figure I might as well just go ahead....and put down my wish for a loverly little Haydenly-signed Anakinlicious OfficialPix photo....figured I might as well, at any rate, since I was being entreated and cajoled to hand over a list of some kind....and alack-and-alas, that one didn't turn up under the tree either, although, hey....there's always a forthcoming birthday, right? Mmmmmmm, aye, who knows, indeed.... Still, though, for what it's worth, well - even though maybe I didn't come away with quite the expected plethora of SW swag and goodies as one would naturally otherwise be hoping for, and as has certainly been the case for me in the past, to be sure - I did manage to score at least one lovely lusted-after, greatly-desired and muchly-appreciated cherished little find...."The Rise and Fall of Darth Vader", that simply beautiful little slipcover-bound volume, I'd known for a while now that was absolutely on my must-have list one way or another, and of course it just tickles me to no end that mom and dad did end up getting it for me....awwwwww, how we loves them - and actually, the way mom explained it to me was that she knew beyond any doubt that it was the right book and the one I'd actually been asking for....when they took off the outer slipcase and saw the actual illustrated book cover....there was probably ne'er any mistaking or confusing it then, I expect. tee hee Dawn. (oh, and what else did Santa bring me, you might be asking....well, 'twould seem that he was ever-so-kind and thoughtful as to bring me....bronchitis....yay! 	Yeah, come to think of it, I got more SW stuff than expected. Our friends got us each a Attactix sets (3 total), I got the new Star Wars Lego game for the computer (really cute and fun for the whole family) and my sister in law sewed me and my daughter matching Star Wars pajamas. 	I did not get any SW items from my family. I rarely get anything SW from them because they assume I have it somewhere already . However, I did get a Boba Fett action figure during my office Secret Santa week and a co-worker got me a SW t-shirt. Plus I bought myself a few treats like the new Ghostie!Anakin action figure and a cool Rebel logo necklace somebody made on Etsy.com. I got one of the Marc Ecko hoodies last month. I have Star Wars Vault and it's worth every penny. I haven't had much time to listen to all of the CDs, including Hayden's interview, but I'll make time for his sexy voice sometime soon . Dawn, the book you're thinking of is Star Wars Chronicle: The Prequels. I've seen it sell for reasonable prices on eBay. 	snaps fingers with all due emphasis and vigor Aaaaahhhhhh, yes, that's it, that's the one precisely, thanks so much, dahling....and, hrmmm, for that matter I wonder if maybe that could be the reason why, even though I at least referenced or made some kind of mention of that glorious full-blown prequel masterpiece tome, still alack-and-alas it actually wasn't waiting there 'neath the tree for my rapturous eyes and insatiable and frenzied-eager hands, and honestly, maybe at this point I can only presume that....could very well be because, as it turned out, I actually wasn't able to jot down the full official title for it when I was basically being cajoled and entreated and on-the-spot pressed (with love, mind you) for my list, ASAP and pronto and all that, at the time....I gave them as much info as I could think of right then and there, but either it evidently wasn't enough....aaahhhh, blahst! - or else, hrmmm, come to think of it maybe 'twas something they'd just have no luck finding here in town.... ....at least probably not on fairly short notice and maybe not within just two weeks or so, I should think, especially given the fact that to this day I don't seem to recall seeing it anywheres on display in town, and in fact I only ever saw any copy of "Dressing A Galaxy", for example, on display in one store all of once, way back when....and since then, not so much evidently....which I fear may likely just "go to show", 'round these parts, at least in the sense that when it comes to the especially cherished and highly-prized, dearly-treasured must-have and top-quality "gets" like this, like this obviously and absolutely spectacular prequel volume, well....on the one hand, I suppose I'm not all that surprised that it actually wouldn't be find-able here. Somewhat vexed and disappointed, oh, to be sure....and, oh, I don't doubt as it's something I could likely order through one of the local booksellers, but let's face it, they'd likely charge through the nose for the privilege.... And as you rightly say, then, surely something like Amazon would be well-worth looking into in this case, either through them or even the official SW site or wherever else, but at this point 'twould seem like that's probably the most viable option....you surely do have a point there, natch. And, oh, truth be told maybe I'm just especially grateful and sincerely, mightily thankful that I actually did manage to score this smooth and sleek and ever-so-pretty little "Rise and Fall of Darth Vader" tome, literally Anakin's tale from start to finish, because even having just glanced through it a while back in the store - it seemed like top-notch stuff by my reckoning, entirely worthwhile actually....and, oh, of course....who could e'er resist the sheer, striking artful handsomeness of that book cover....goodness only knows I can't, after all.... lovingly prises it from the slipcase and gleefully kisses the book cover in a fit of delight Dawn. P.S. And oh, wait, waitaminit now, what's this I hear about....the Ghostie!Anakin figure, him in all his fairly translucent, shimmering blue!ghostie and reborn-phoenix, youthened and beautiful glory, then, you're telling me that figure is already available and out there somewhere for the having and the overeager snatching-up....where oh where, honestly, because methinks it's unfortunately liable to probably not be....anywheres around here, knowing my luck or lack thereof, I should think.... hrmph ....seems mightily unfair, to be sure, when all this time I've been so fiercely yearning after and so desperately desiring this uniquely breathtaking and beautifully evocative little figure, when indeed I was just utterly captivated by it with even the first glimpse I had of it....there, in the display case, in the midst of CIV....and oh my goodness, the plethora of pics I took of him in all his blue!ghostie magnificence, oh, I rather lost count, actually....I mean, oh, just look how pretty, eh? -----signature----- Anakin Skywalker is shagadelic! 	The Vault already is limited edition - there's only like 10,000 copies out there. They have it on Amazon for like $53 now. Which you know when you think of the $300 it was for the ultra deluxe fabric swags version of the costume book - that's actually a bargain. 	Actually, unless I'm greatly misremembering here - I seem to recall that my deluxe and so-long-lusted-after, so-deeply-and-desperately desired, dearly-adored and forevermore-treasured and altogether bee-yew-ti-ful especial collector's edition of "Dressing A Galaxy", rare and beloved costume swatches and all (and ohhhh, aye, to this very day I still vividly remember what 'twas like to actually sit down with that book and gingerly, gently crack it open for the first time....between that in itself and also finding much to my delight and relief that it had exactly the fabric swatches I'd been wanting and fair demanding the most, what I was specifically gunning for in this case, well....methinks it really was like one of those true heavenly-happy moments, light shining down from above, choir of angels singing and all that ) - if I do have it right, then, I could swear that it actually only ended up costing me, what....maybe $230-ish at absolute most, there at CIV.... ....yet still, though, I'm fairly certain that it wasn't anywheres near a full $300 (even in greenbacks, and this is even before the exchange rate suddenly got so favourable for us up this-a-ways, and oh, mmmmmm....just think of what could be done with it now, if CIV was being held right around now with that incredibly favourable exchange rate, I mean....oh, the value to be had....oh, how I could be taking even more advantage of it.... tee hee) - of course it certainly did make for the single biggest and most pricey purchase for me there, but then I had gone into it knowing full well that such would likely be the case anyway, and I had my eyes and heart fair set on the shmexfully beautiful and breathtakingly gorgeous, simply dazzling rare and deluxe edition of "Dressing A Galaxy" (and even one of those signed by Trisha too, as it turns out, whee again! ) - it definitely was a first-and-foremost priority for me, and a real cherished treasure absolutely well-worth it, and then some. I must say, though, that all this talk of the SW Vault volume does have me only ever more curious....maybe I wouldn't have necessarily thought to put it on my list before, but now, though - I'm wondering if I may actually very well want to know more, you definitely have intrigued me, methinks....h'm, h'm, this may yet merit some serious looking-into after all.
