Well, hey, I'd also agree wholly, truly, deeply and utmost sincerely besides that far as I'm certainly concerned, at any rate, not only was the dialogue *verrrrrry* much more than fine and entirely satisfactory and purrfectly well worthy besides, and not just "in part" for all that but actually as a whole and in its full entirety anyway.... I mean, honestly, *I've* certainly never had anything even remotely resembling the merest sort of issue or concern with it, not in the *slightest* in fact, and it still rings plenty true by my reckoning anyway.... (besides, it's also seemed to me that such talk of decrying or otherwise coming down harshly or at all unfairly and negatively on the dialogue for instance, oh, I daresay too that would actually leave me more than a wee bit afraid of just what so-called "dialogue" others would so bizarrely seek to replace it with....brrrrrr, oh, how I shudder even to think of it, and we really did dodge quite the proverbial bullet there, you realize....phew! ) Dawn.

Ladies (and gents ) have you heard this news????
Oh my god!!!!!
JACKSON AND CHRISTENSEN LENDING VOICES TO ‘CLONE WARS?’
‘Star Wars’ alums express interest in returning to their characters in CG ‘Clone Wars’ cartoon
By Dylan Brucie
Posted 2/13/2008
Following the exciting announcement from Lucasfilm that the new CG “Clone Wars” cartoon will kick off with a theatrical release prior to debuting on Cartoon Network, prequel alums Samuel L. Jackson and Hayden Christensen both expressed interest to MTV.com in reprising their respective roles of Mace Windu and Anakin Skywalker.
Although most of the casting hasn’t officially been announced, Jackson and Christensen would join fellow returning actors Anthony Daniels and Matthew Wood, who return to their roles of C-3PO and General Grievous.
Buzz began when Jackson jumped at the idea of returning to Mace. "That'd be great for me, I would love to," Jackson gushed. "Yeah, [there's interest]."

They're interested, but no one has signed on any dotted lines . But it would be great if it happened.

Yeah I know, but remember the last time Samuel started musing out loud that he'd LOVE to be involved in a project w/ George Lucas, he got himself a STAR WARS ticket. If these 2 start talking enough - it's very possible they could be brought on board

In any case, their paychecks would be money well-spent.

I just heard about Hayden being in the Clone Wars. Possibly. That is amazing news. I also read thi article about him talking about buying a farm and 'not selling himself to Hollywood'. I think that is bold of him to say, since he is an actor and that statement shows the fame didn't wash away his humanity, like it did to most of the stars.
I've seen Mr Magorium last week. It is a really nice movie. For kids mostly, but I liked it none the less. I think it is one of those films where Natalie looks 'normal', in search of better work, unlike that Goya movie.

Was Goya's Ghosts not a good movie? I was really wanting to see it.

I hope lovelucas doesn't mind me posting this here, but I wasn't sure how many of you browse the Prequel forum these days. She's got a topic there titled "Prequels?..Well originally George..". Here's a bit from the initial post, explaining her idea for the thread:
lovelucas posted: Premise is: the concepts, dialogue, ideas that were in the books-keeping in mind that George approved every word - that didn't make it to the films and therefore aren't "canon" but reveal much. Things you bought, or are willing to consider as part of the Star Wars story because they were approved by the Maker.
Her newest post makes a connection between Vader's dying thoughts in the ROTJ novel, and a line from Anakin about Naboo in AOTC:
lovelucas posted: In the book of AotC when Anakin and Padmé visit the Lake Retreat, Anakin says to Padmé, (recalling when he was last here, during the invasion of Naboo from TPM) that Naboo was his favorite place, and he says to her: "If I grew up here, I don't think I'd ever leave" and telling her that when he misses his mother he feels better just thinking of this beautiful place - he continues: "The way the palace shimmers in the sunlight, the way the air always smells of flowers." And then we have in the book, RotJ this, as Vader is dying:
He smiled up again at his son and for the first time, loved him, And for the first time in many long years, loved himself again, as well.
Suddenly he smelled something - flared his nostrils, sniffed once more. Wildflowers, that was what it was. Just blooming; it must be spring.~ and with that, I choose to see Anakin returning once again to Naboo where Padmé is waiting for him.
Two books, same saga and as we all know the death of Anakin was written decades before his visit to the Lake Retreat.
An example of why I am LL
I'm pretty sure we've made a connection between Naboo and that passage from ROTJ before - but I've seen it linked specifically with the meadow picnic, rather than a line directly from one of the prequel books. Forgive me if I'm treading old ground. I just thought it was cool that lovelucas made this little connection, and wanted to share it with my fellow Defenders. Here's a link to the entire thread:
