They have them at Hasbro.com - I need to order one along w/ 10,000 Indy figures *Sigh*

So for the past couple of months I've been sorting through the thousands of photos that I've got scattered all over my computer and harddrives and have been working on filling up the gallery for Multipleverses.com - which is my sister's and my sci-fi film and TV news blog. I've been trying my hardest to sort out and find either the best quality stuff (lots of which came from starwars.com) or the rare and unusual photos.

Here are a few of my favorites (I'm hosting them elsewhere so I don't suck up my gallery's bandwidth:)

I'm still filling up that giant gallery along w/ my gallery for my Sarah Connor Chronicles board. (Click on HOME and you'll see what I mean- pretty much anything sci-fi or fantasy that you want photos for - we've got them.)

If you'd like to peruse my Star Wars galleries - CLICK HERE!

I would love it if anyone is interested in helping to contribute to the gallery if you've got some fantastic Ani/Padme or whatever photos that you'd like to share. The only thing I request is that they're non-watermarked (IE no site names on them) unless the site's either a huge news oriented site (like starwars.com)- just not from fansites (desiring-hayden, etc.)

You can look over the gallery - I'm loading stuff from whatever - so awesome Anakin/Padme stuff rocks (other characters greatly appreciated too!) but if you have Pirates of the Caribbean photos or other films/tv programs that we have loaded that would be great too happy Just shoot me a PM if you're interested in helping out.

Also - if ANYONE has an extra copy of the Vanity Fair from AOTC I'd be willing to buy it from you, or if you'd be willing to send it to me so that I could scan it that would be awesome since there are pitifully poor scans of that lovely cover available online anywhere.

Anyways - have fun wandering around - I'm still loading stuff, so I'm not done yet tongue

Thanks guys!

So it looks like Natalie was selected to be a US actress judge for the Cannes film festival. My sister and I have a separate website that's just for fun celeb stuff - Entertainment Hotline and we have a gallery for it. I've started loading photos of Nat that are available to me through WireImages from the event. I expect that since she's a judge she'll likely be at all of the events, lots of dress changes, TONS of photos. So keep checking our gallery daily.

Here are a few samples:

Right now I've got 63 photos of her loaded. Click HERE to view them all!

I now have over 250 MQ-HQ photos of Natalie in our gallery. Click here to peruse them!

Also I've got a cute environment clip of Nat from Cannes up on Entertainment Hotline. You can watch it HERE.

I liked Jumper. It's not the best of Hayden's movies, but I enjoyed watching it.

I still haven't see the Other Bolyen Girl.
Speaking of which, I remember my friend (who currently lives in London) telling me abou how she managed to see Natalie at the premiere of the OBG when she went to see Jumper. It was an accident becouse she didn't know the premiere was held in the same cinema she planned to go to see Jumper. She went to see the movie elsewhere in the end, but it was a pretty cool mistake. Lucky girl. happy

We-ell, now, I figure as I can certainly speak to "Jumper" at any rate since admittedly I've not yet had the chance to see Nat's latest there, though at some point I expect I will since of course I figur eI quitewell approve of all the fanciful costumery and ever so pretty colours and fabrics and just the lushness, the richness and the grandeur of the time period and the vision of the story, mmmmmm, *quite*....aaahhhh, something rather hearkening back to the times of romance I suppose, in whatever highly politically-charged or intrigue-rich fashion at any rate, and mmmm, ye-es....I suppose then that I can quite well see the appeal of most anything along the lines of the romantic, the lovelorn, the smitten....how strange that I would have such a strange hankering for that, can't imagine why, I'm so sure. wink *laughs* Aaaahhhh, but still, though, ye-es - to the point at hand, then, you were asking about "Jumper" for one and thus whether 'tis indeed worth a go....
....and to that, of course, I figure as I can wholeheartedly and sincerely, passionately say - oh yes, yes, *absolutely* yes, it's *so* very, verrrrrry truly and deeply much more than just "worth" a go, you'll love it, from start to finish it's an amazing, rollicking, jaw-droppingly audacious adventure and general spine-tingling, nerve-exciting thrill ride the likes of which one probably could scarcely have even imagined before, and suffice it to say as well that you've probably just never seen anything else quite like it, though little wonder indeed the reason why that would be, eh? happy And oh, *oh* my goodness, too, it really is an intensely provocative film unto itself, I've found, and there really is rather a whole heckuva intensely rewarding and highly evocative, greatly intriguing fine lot to it than some might have let themselves see of it - aaahhhh, but then, that's their fault, their problem and *their* sad lack I should think.... happy
And certainly, too, some of these thematic resonances and story points and interpersonal dynamics at play in the course of things, well, they might not be explicitly or overtly, smack-one-upside-the-head plainly stated in black-and-white language, but then I don't reckon as they'd really *have* to be anyway....watching it unfold as it does, in other words, on some level you do pick up on these things, you respond to them or at least provoked to wonder by them, on even the most subtle and unstated of levels....and I love, oh, absolutely *love* it as well, too, that this is a film whivh really seems to *reward* us, the audience, for having the wit and the care, th eattention to actually stick with it, to pay close enough attention, and thus to be able to think for ourselve sand be allowed to wonder about certain conclusions. It trusts that we're smart enough to follow along without being pandered or talked down to, and thus for our attentiveness and smarts we do end up only quite well rewarded....
....or, at the very least, that certainly feels like *my* experience of it anyway, but then I do reckon as I've just always, aye, absolutely *always* loved and adored, intensely enjoyed this whole film from start to finish and obviously even long before it was actually released, too, for all that....aye, even way back when, I knew it intrigued and provoked me enough so that I only wanted to know more about it....even then, in other words, it had already effectively caught my fancy and fired my curiosity in a big way....although, again, of course considering the whole inherent subject matter and even the most general gist of the basic idea, well....I mean, heck, I'd have probably been surprised if my reaction had ever amounted to anything else, anything less, right? Ohhhh, aye....and even way back when, too, clearly. happy And then, too, I'd only expect that....coming out of this film, if you do find yourself actually trying to teleport like that outright, well - you'd be in good company, trust me. Ahem. wink

Dawn. (who can only imagine the wonderful freedom and profound sense of relief it would've surely afforded Anakin and Padme both too, for their part, if at least one or even the both of them were able to enjoy the benefits and definite, galaxy-hopping, across-the-stars reaching advantages of such teleportation, such jumping after a fashion, then....ohhhh, aye, how it would have made fair *all* the positive and heartening, gladdening difference to them then, I don't doubt, because then they'd truly never be long-apart, right, because no matter all the bounds of time and space and seemingly impassable physical distance in the way, at least then, oh, *then* they could always find some way to be with each other, to literally fly right back in the space of a mere heartbeat, just by willing it so, and I can't imagine anything better for two lovers and soulmates, *oh* how they could've put such a gift to such great use, then, I'm sure.... *dreamy look, despite the plot bunny nibbling at her ankles, at that*)

I liked Jumper and have the 10 foot high lobby display billboard in my rec room... the one where David/Hayden is in Egypt on the pyramid.

and Natalie has dropped out of Wuthering Heights.....producers are plenty ticked because she was the one who pursued the role. It's now going to Factory Girl Sienna Miller.

Walk out: Natalie Portman leaves Heathcliff in the lurch

Hollywood star Natalie Portman has walked out of a big-screen version of Wuthering Heights, throwing the production into chaos.

Her decision to withdraw from the British film has infuriated its backers because, far from being wooed for the role, she actively pursued the plum part of Emily Bronte's tragic heroine Cathy Earnshaw.

The movie's director John Maybury and producers Ecosse Films and HanWay were blinded by Portman's dazzling "come-on". Neither film company would comment yesterday.

Portman pursued the part vigorously and was so passionate about it that she asked for and received casting approval for Heathcliff.

and here's the source indicating Sienna is in discussions to play Cathy in Brontë's Wuthering Heights:

Aaaaahhhhhhhh! How the pretty frilly heck did you manage that one, is what I'd dearly like to know....because I tried to score it from no fewer than two theatres in town, and one of 'em was snatched up before me by some guy who managed to put his name down for it before I did....to this day I still don't know how he managed that one, but if *ever* I find out who he was, to be depriving me in such a fashion, to basically swoop right in so sneakily and in such distinctly underhanded fashion thus take away what, far as I'm concerned, was actually rightfully mine and what I'd also be able to enjoy and appreciate far more than most anyone else, I should think, and....gah, well, let's just say that my reaction would not be at all pretty, if ever I managed to find out who stole, *stole* I tell you, my theatrical display pretty away from me....grrrr, argh, indeed. happy (of course, that's the same theatre who also promised me the "Jumper" poster, and I know I was the first and only one with my name down for that one, but did they ever bother calling me back, despite me pressing them about it? *rolls eyes with great vim and eloquence* Sheesh, indeed....)

And, oh, what's more too - I'd actually had my eager and ever-hopeful eye on that stunning and spectacular, in *every* sense powerfully evocative and attention-getting fine display in the one other big theatre here in town, and from them I'd even been getting the distinct impression that they would actually be alright with just letting me have it....so in other words, then, they were definitely allowing me to hope - only for me to then swing by the theatre one day, at least a couple weeks into "Jumper"'s theatrical run, and at first glance I was a mite confused when I couldn't spot the gloriously vivid display anywhere on the floor - where I knew for a fact it *had* been there only a wee bit earlier in the day. It turned out, much to my dismay and *extreme* frustration, and believe you me I was mightily hard-pressed to avoid tearing at my hair and screaming outright when I realized it, that apparently they'd just given the display to someone who'd come in earlier in the day, claiming that they wanted it....for their *school*, for whatever the heck class it was. (!!!) *thinking numerous things that probably shouldn't be uttered aloud*

I can't even imagine what use they could make of it that *I* somehow couldn't, then, is the thing - there's absolutely *no* way that they could ever appreciate, enjoy, admire and love it nearly as much as I knew for a fact I could, and had hoped so much to do just that....yet for the theatre staff to lead me to hope that they'd give it to me, for them to really keep reassuring me as much - only to then give it away to someone else, just like that....one moment it was there and so tantalizingly near, within my reach, then all of a sudden it wasn't - and that *hurt*, too, I'll admit. Ohhh, man, did it ever.... *theatrical, dramatic wince* And even just last week, too, with "Jumper"'s DVD release, I put in a claim for one of those very flashy and shiny and ever-so-boldly colourful fine DVD display boxes, differing in design from the theatrical poster obviously yet still no less distinctive and positively bee-*yew*-ti-ful for that - and they gave me every impression that it would be mine, said there should be absolutely no problem with it....yet have I heard anything back from them yet? *raises eyebrow* Ohhhh, honestly, it's one of these things where I'm wondering if I might indeed be better off to just try eBaying it, and have done....

Dawn.
