	Hey Ladies - Nice to see you all again - I'm glad that you liked my wallpaper So I feel the beast rising up inside of me again after it's been dormant for a LONG time. Sigh I have a feeling this week at Comic Con won't help but will likely only nurture it further. I'm hoping to get to see Mark Hamil and get a signature from him (which I'm assuming will be expensive) and I'm going to check out the Lucasfilm panel (it's before a big panel w/ Peter Jackson & James Cameron talking about the future of Film.) I desperately need to clean out my office - when I do I'm planning on getting my shrine back out and up. 	Bwahaha! SW is like the Hotel California. You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave . I'll also be at Comic Con, so maybe we'll bump into each other, PLJ. I'm planning on getting Hamill's signature (it's $100) as well as some of the cast from Clone Wars. Both Matt Lanter (who voices Anakin) and Catherine Taber (who voices Padmé) will be there, so I want to get them to sign an OTP CW piccie. 	Aw, I love it when my fandoms collide. squishes her Luna icon She's not unlike Padmé, in a way... her faith/compassion is boundless, and she has a talent for dealing with broody Chosen Ones. So, how about that CW season 2 trailer, eh? Though you don't see them together, there is most definitely an A/P-related moment: Anakin walks in on Padmé eagerly hugging some random dude, and there's some major stinkeye. That Padmé's doing so while in a very revealing gown probably isn't helping Ani's temper, either. We all know she's not double-crossing her man, but it's still a good thing for this guy that looks don't Force-choke. That said, while we are going to see a "darker" Ani in season 2, I hope the jealous!Anakin is minimal. 	Especially if my new crack!theory is true and it's a certain dreamy-eyed boy Anakin's heard Padmé go on about in the past. And even more especially because of that dress she's wearing - that poor sod doesn't know that Padmé's bare back has a zero-tolerance "Anakin Skywalker Parking ONLY" sign on it. If it is Palo - then MissPadme's comment on LJ is right. He may as well just put on a Tusken Raider costume, chant "I killed your mom!", and be done with it. 	Cool trailer, I can't wait for 2nd season now! And OMG at Padme "cheating" on Ani ( ). I'm sure it'll end up being a misunderstanding, but I'm also slightly worried about Anakin's reaction. I've never been a great fan of Anakin's jealousy (esp not in ROTS novel, as much as I like the book), but this will deffinitely be an interesting episode! I'm anxious to see how Mr Filoni and the team will deal with that side of Anakin's personality. So far they've done great job in charcterisation, really showing Anakin's character in full light, unlike some other pieces of EU which didn't do him any justice, so I have faith. -----signature----- "There is still good in him." 	Great pics, PLJ! Agreed on all counts, Darthana - I despised that especially in the reunion scene in the RotS novel (and Padmé's reaction to it), and was practically dancing when GL cut all that from the movie. He's right; the Othello element is overkill for motivating Anakin's fall - not to mention takes away the emotional impact/shock of the Force-choke. Personally, about the only way I can stand the Force-choke is because Anakin directing his anger at Padmé in that way is such a rare thing. Of course, for all we know, in this particular instance, Anakin's more angry at the dude for copping a feel than at Padmé herself. Filoni & co. have done excellent work with Anakin's character so far - much more so than the whole of other official EU - so I mostly trust them, especially with GL so closely supervising things, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I was still a little wary of this particular development. I actually can't wait to see Anakin's reaction when he first sees Padmé in that gown; you know she's sporting that little backless number just for him. On a CW-related note, how many of you have seen the Comic-Con CW cast script reading? Absolutely hilarious, and not just because of the load of A/P innuendo.
