	EU says Nute's a playboy...ehh??? BTW, Barriss_Coffee, i'm curious, what happens in Shadow Hunter to make Nute a playboy...tell teh Kwehness O.O!! 	Actually, it was Holonet News that confirmed that Gunray was an intergalactic playboy, and proud of it. In Shadowhunter all he really did was strip down in one scene and think about how hot he was. Of course, if you're into the alien strip scenes I would advise Shadows of the Empire. In the meantime... Cat Miin? Shu Mai crossed my mind before but uh... oh well. And uh... Wat Tambor? Actually, I was kind of wondering why Gunray was clinging onto San Hill's skirt in the TV show. I'm starting to suspect the Separatist leadership was one giant lovefest... a soap opera could be made of this. ********************* In all seriousness, the EU honestly does point out that San Hill was unnaturally obsessed with Grievous, even it wasn't reciprocated. EDIT: Kwehchan, if you really want some hard evidence as to Hill's relationship with Grievous, a lot of clues (but not all) are found in Labyrinth of Evil. He goes to Grievous' planet immediately before Grievous is buried in a sacred, Kaleesh-only ceremony, and talks to him secretly when Grievous is in bed. 	Well...i cannot say that i am very fond of alien strip scenes, but as a member of the Nute Gunray fanclub, that scene from Shadowhunter has tweaked my interest...what exactly happens? and where does it say on Holonet?...i am both curious and disturbed beyond belief... I still do not believe that San Hill is gay...but again, Labyrinth of Evil has interested me...good thing i'm reading it now... And yes, San Hill/Cat Miin...i'm just wierd like that...as for San Hill/Wat Tambor...that kind of thing happens when my brain switches off...however that doesn't make it any less disturbing... 	Anything about the Separatists scares other people. I used to hate them all, too. I saw the concept art for AOTC and pretty much thought, "Ewwww... scary weird people... I hope they all get cut from the film." (Gunray not included... by that point I was only starting to like him, and felt sorry he had to hang around with such freakish allies.) About a year later I started to change my tune... it started with San Hill, then the others all followed suite. Now it's an addiction... and like all addictions, I have to hide it from the rest of society, for sadly the general masses don't understand how complex and genuinely interesting the Separatists actually are. -----signature----- LSATSOM IS OUT!!! 	Aha! My favorite thread is back! Hmmmmm... oh yes, LOE. San Hill. Grievous. Alright, let me see.... Alright, on p. 132 (hardcover edition), Dooku, Sids, and San plan to pull Grievous onto their side. Hill comes up with the plan, but later has second thoughts and asks, "What if Grievous should actually die in the crash?" An odd statement, but maybe not so much if you take into account what had happened to him immediately prior to these events, explained in the Insider Magazine's General Grievous article about a year ago. According to that, Grievous had just quit his job in a sudden urge to return to Kalee and seek out some meaning to his existence. Hill, of course, was both shocked and angered by this. My guess is he wanted immediate revenge on Grievous, then felt bad about it afterward. Dooku and Sids didn't give a damn if Grievy kicked the bucket; but since San Hill saved his life (a story that still hasn't been thoroughly explained as of yet), he obviously didn't want Greivous dead. Anyhow, p. 111-112 get really interesting. Grievous is at some Kaleesh funeral ritual, watching his people prepare his pyre. Strangely enough, who should appear but San Hill? Not only is he completely out of place, but he's whispering to Grievous while the latter is lying in bed. Now that's just plain sketchy. Then, while he's talking to him, he brings up the subject of "the pleasures of the flesh," and it's clear what he's referring to. And remember, Grievous is in bed. Later on that page, Grievous tells Hill to "gaze on me." In fact, the whole conversation is suggestive. Maybe I was looking too much into it, but I've heard others mention it on these forums too. Aside from LOE, Visionaries had an interesting, yet somewhat different version of these events. In that one, San Hill outwardly addresses Grievous as "My Dear" several times. Weird. Maybe there's nothing going on between the two, but I haven't been the only one to pick up on any of this. But I don't think the EU is going to confirm anything anytime soon, since it seems to have an ongoing aversion to homosexuals in general. ****************************************************************** Since when did San Hill invade the Nute Gunray Fan Club? -----signature----- LSATSOM IS OUT!!! 	Thank you soooo much!!! Is the hardcover different from the softcover? Or was it completely cut from the soft...either way, i need to find a hardcover, where did you get yours, Barriss_Coffee? One more question and then i'll TRY to stop being such a pest...for now lol... what chapter(s) was the San/Grievous conversation? 	Well, you're very welcome! Hmmmm... I got the hard cover when LOE first came out, so I guess the only place to get it now would be E-Bay or some other online company. The San/Grievous scenes were mentioned a few times, but only in detail once. I'm guessing they'd be about a third through your novel. And if you're into the Separatists... there's a new novel coming out in 2008 that you might find interesting. I won't get into the details here, since I'm not sure if you heard about it already and it's a bit off-topic, but it appears that San Hill has/had an interesting relationship with Palpatine's Sith Master. That said, have fun with Shadowhunter. Certainly one of the best EU novels out there. -----signature----- LSATSOM IS OUT!!!
