Hmm, a lot of the photos on the last couple of pages are coming up as blanks at my end, both in the thread and in the opened windows. They must be from a graphics-heavy site...oh well...
Anyhoo, reason I'm here: Although I'm sure all of you are aware of the Attakus model of Grievous that's now available, have you checked out the cute little 'making of' mini-site the modeller made up about it? It's excellent reference for artists in addition to just being interesting on its own, and as a bonus, it's got a nice promo image of Grievous on each page--I especially like the one on page six, Grievous showing off the business end of his blaster. PS: Also smiling over this site's referring to Grievous as 'the ultimate vilain (sic) of Episode III'. Not Vader or Sidious. Grievous. Yeesssss...!

Great site, biddybot! Lots of great making of pics, especially the cape, neck and limb designs...the guts kind of creeped me out though, I guess it's because they were so detailed and you didn't get to see the detail in the movie much...it's a shame I don't have 580 dollars or I'd probably try and get one(although I had my sights on the Sideshow one and I got burned on it...long story.)
Hmm, the pics are coming up all right for me...maybe it's your browser or something.

The 'missing' photos at my end are probably just hosted on a site (imageshack?) that the server I go through is filtering out for one reason or another. I'll check them out the next time I have access to a local library computer...don't want to miss anything 'yummy'!
One thing I noticed on those images that did get through is that that 'priest' who's smearing the blood on Kaleesh-Grievous's head seems to have a differently structured hand than the Grievous you see in the full-length portrait painting of him holding his rifle...a thumb and three fingers versus two fingers and two thumbs? a thumb and a dew claw? Weird... It's like the artist himself was still playing around and not sure of which look he liked best yet. I remember there was a hint of that in the Kaleesh characters' leg construction too. I swear there was one guy going up a ladder that appeared to have an extra joint, compared to the others.
Ref. Grievous's guts, I still maintain that whoever 'designed' them just looked at some illustrations of insect innards and threw a bunch of lookalike goop together without giving much thought as to what any of it actually was or how it would function. As long as it all looked 'icky' and 'alien', that was their main concern, I think.

Probably right. A pity since most of us have always thought about what organs GG actually had. If that's true, not even the original designer knows. 
But we can always guess. I say he has a lung, a liver, a very small stomach and maybe two hearts for good measure.  (I don't know what that means. LOL. Poor attempt at humor. Hey that one Jedi has four throats.    )
That site is cool. Seeing a GG figure all the way through its creation.

Yeah, just like Gl told him he had to do that scene with Shaak Ti...I think that Disney Days skit was hilarious, especially when Grievous called Warwick a "little twit"!
I don't know, again if you look closely at Grievous' hand when his shuttle is about to crash and he's holding on to the joystick you can see he has three fingers and a thumb, although in the painting you speak of, it does look like he has two thumbs and two fingers on his one hand...
Yeah, I noticed that about the guts too, it doesn't seem like they function together...oh well, it's like you said, biddybot, they just gooped it together I think because it would all be covered over with an opaque green gutsac so maybe you're not supposed to see all the detail, I don't know...
