And hello again to you fangirl, I hope you can post more often now and don't let Darth School bog you down too much..

Me either, but since I homeschool, it might be easier. *Wacks math book*

And this forum will make a fine addition to my collection

But of course General. tongue

Well, I believe we need to get back on the subject of Grievous? *Thinks of one*

What if Han Solo bumped into the General, who would win at a fight, and at words? I think both of them have good comebacks.

Well I think GG would win in a fight. grin But as far as words, Ludo has those two at odds in his fic. mischief I think Han is better at the comebacks myself. GG is a little sensitive. mischief Remember when Anakin said he was short. worried Poor Grievous. cry

I don't know how he does it, but Grievous just has a kind of...intriguing charm to him which simply cannot be left behind! Even if I get more interested in other things time and time again than the good general, ( yes, it happens to me as well sometimes happy ), I always find myself eventually drawn back to the Star Wars Universe through his imposing figure and astounding history!! Man, I just cannot grow out of it! GG STILL RULES TO THE MAX!!! silly

Well said Catgirl dear. alien_2 dancing

Probably about how Dooku doesn't appreciate him

You know, Dooku really doesn't appreciate him. I like to toy with that when I write the two of them. Seems like Dooku is always holding him back like an animal. (Surprising Grievous would take that abuse but he does) It's sort of like the Emperor/Darth Vader relationship. One holds the power over the other. Like Vader, Grievous is slave to someone more powerful when you would think Dooku is much weaker. mischief Combined with his use of Force Lightning, Dooku and Grievous are the PT version of the Emperor/Vader team. alien_2

Anyone agree? worried

Eh, that reminds me of the song "Delilah" by The Dresden Dolls (although it's pretty negative X_X). There's a few fitting lines (I can't post all the lyrics because some of them are innappropriate for this forum)

"In the same bar you slammed down your fist and said
'Amanda I'm in Love".
No you're not.
You're just a sucker for the ones who use you"

and (this one's a little iffy, but consider it someone else's point of view)
"He's going to beat you like a pillow,
you schizos never learn.
And if you take him home,
You get what you deserve"

As for Grievous' age, I'd guess around 40. Which makes Dooky WAYYYY older X_X

You know I find it interesting that most people guess Grievous' age to be around fourty. Even though we don't know what he looks like, I guess we can get some idea from what sort of life he has lived. The again the Kaleesh are a different species so they may age faster or slower than we do.

Palpy and I were talking about the Joker last night and he said he likes the colours green and purple. It just so happens that those are the colours of my room, so I took some photos of them. Maybe I should start a post a picture of your lair thread in the JCC.

Han vs Grievous on comebacks thinking

I would have to agree that Han would win (don't kill me Grievous worried )

Grievous would probably just curse at him in Kaleesh

Grievous really didnt like the short comment, especially since at one time he had no legs or arms and was suspended with chains in a bacta tank, maybe he had a flashback. Poor Grievous sad

But saying that maybe he thought Anakin was saying it out of fear

-C-, wow what an awesome room! I have to share a room with my sister, which isn't so bad, but it's small and we have a personality 'clash' so to say. tongue She has the average girly stuff, while I have stuff consisting of video games, star wars, lord of the rings and so on.
Maybe when I get the room cleaned up I can show some pics. =D

Yes, sadly Han would probably get Grievous mad at his smart-talk, but then agian, Grievous would chop off his head...Though you know Han is good at getting himself out of trouble.

General, hey cool, I'll read it in a moment(after school, as I said yesterday...Bear with me tongue )

Nice pics, Courtney! grin Gee, I can't tell if you are a LOTR fan or not. tongue JK, you have a nice collection...the wall color is a little bright for my taste, but if it works for you! peace And I can't wait to see your Sideshow in the collection(you are going to post a pic of it...right? worried praying grin )

I read the first three chapters of your first fic, General of Kalee, but I haven't started your second...I want to, it looks really good! mischief

Hmm, battle wise I think Grievous would win, but in a war of words, Han would definitely have the advantage...after all, he has a battle of wits with the princess, he should be able to handle the general...oh wait, isn't there a fic that deals with that? tongue

Wow, more activity last night, I wanted to get on this morning, but my stupid phoneline won't let...so help me, I'm getting DSL if it kills me...well okay, I won't let it kill me, but I need to moolah first! tongue

(Try this again, the 'Post Reply' sometimes doesn't post for me the first time! frustrated )

I read a Heros battle, I like the premise of Grievous as one of Jabba's slaves, I can't wait to see what you have in store for that...as for your other one, I want to make sure I have a lot of time to read it straight through...you have quite a few chapters to get through. peace

And still plenty more to do dancing lol. It is taking more chapters than I origanlly thought it would.

As for A Heros Battle I just wanted to spin a new idea. And hopefully I am doing a ok job with it so far.

I just liked the idea of Grievous being a slave to Jabba, it will explain some of his more 'darker' side behaviour in future chapters.

Your "of this life" Grievous Fanfiction is amazing!! applause
