	MACE WINDU has a PURPLE lightsaber because SAM JACKSON wanted to be able to see himself on screen during the big battles. He told Lucas he wanted purple and he got purple. Jackson wanted to be distiguishable from the other Jedi. Anything about mixing red and blue is made up by people who have to explain everything. -Why do padawans have a braid? Because the two strands of hair represent the relationship of the mentor and his padawan. His hair is short as a symbol of his knowledge of the Force, short and growing. -The little force ball that shoots lasers at Luke in ANH and the younglings in TPM was invented by Yoda to kill the Mosquitos on Degobah. -----signature----- "Not entirely stable? 	Alright that mosqito thing is the weirdest thing I have ever heard but it does make some sense.ZZZZap. I was curious i got the ROTS game and the Clone Wars cartoon dvd. I notice in both that there is one Jedi With two green light sabres in the game, and in the cartoon Vsaj Ventress has two red ones before her blue and green one are sliced by Dooku. How would you get two light sabres. Like who would decide for the Jedi. Also in the game there are things called Jedi Brutes who use brute force and a doulble ended light sabre like Darth Maul did in PM. Another weird thing in the game is a thing called a Jedi Sniper, they are so intuned with there light sabre they can throw it and it will come back. What are with these weird ideas.

	'scuz it's a video game, friend. Game designers are paid to create obsticles to make the game a little more challenging. Therefore, they, like EU authors, are allowed to put in ideas that aren't Luca's. I mean, notice that those Jedi Brutes of yours ALWAYS block Anakin's lighting no matter HOW hard to try to catch them off guard. 'scalled a challenge..........even tho the game's short as hell and doesn't have much replay value.....shoulda gotten that Lego one instead >_<

	Just a question, is it the specific crystal or other interior design of the lightsaber hilt itself, or perhaps an electrum lightsaber that effects the actual ignition sound (or deactivation sound, for that matter) of the lightsaber? It's interesting how red colored, sith lightsaber hilts tend to have a very dangerous, knife like edge to them in terms of their ignition sound, whether it's sharp or deep, or high pitched, while Jedi lightsabers nearly sound totally different, aside from the speed, tempo, and pitch of the actual sound. Then there happens to be Luke's lightsaber in ROTJ which has a very "screamish" quality to it when igniting, is this again due to the crystal of the saber? Also, I'm not sure who they hired other then Ben Burtt as sound designer, but the lightsaber igniting sounds seem very random, in one scene, for an example, Obi-Wan ignites his lightsaber and it sounds like a normal lightsaber igniting sound but low pitched, and in another scene it ignites with a screamish sound much like Luke's in ROTJ. Well, in the prequels, at least.

	The ignition sound probably comes from the energy of the blade itself as it bites through the air. "Electrum" is the color of the metal on the outside of Windu's saber and does not have anything to do with the function of the saber. 	I was looking in the essential guide to Characters or weapons and ect. that Mace got his crystals from a place called Hurikane??? I don`t know if this a planet or a location on a planet. If any one has anymore info let me know... One of the Jedi kids got there crystal on Bespin.

The two lightsaber thing was inspired from Anakin/Dooku Battle in AOTC. As for who would deside I believe that circumstance desides, you only see people dual wield if they feel they must to survive, the accecption is Vsaj and I'm not sure about why she does. I know Greivous only does because he can, intimitation factor if you will. The brutes were most defientally inspired by Darth Maul in TPM and they help add challenge to the game, as well as the Jedi Snipers who were inspired by Vader in ROTJ when he threw his lightsaber at Luke. 	Has it ever happened before that Jedi, former Jedi or Sith fought for their life by using a lightsaber and a blaster or another firearm simultaneously?
