	You know... I've been thinking about this for quite a while. It would be interesting if had the technology to build actual lightsabers not the replica ones that out there, but life size ones. it would be kinda cool. -----signature----- Looking for a co-writer...interested?

	Has it ever happened before that Jedi, former Jedi or Sith fought for their life by using a lightsaber and a blaster or another firearm simultaneously? Darth Maul did that in Shadow Hunter I think you could still do that in a fic tho. My character Moe Tharen is a bounty hunter/jedi dropout, so she uses serveral weapons other than a light saber. -----signature----- Jesus Freak

Well, in an AU fanfiction I'd like to make Anakin defend himself against sandpeople or someone like them with blaster and saber while giving a jump start to a freighter with the Force, but it's just only that single idea which exists so far for this fanfiction. I have to collect more ideas, but collecting needs time. 	In another idea I thought about letting a Dark Lord form a laserblade in his concave hands. That would be in some kind like Maul's double-bladed saber, but he could hold it in any area or divide it into two which may drag too much power and concentration from him. I imagined he might be able to clutch a lightsaber solely with his hands, but that may be too powerful for a Jedi to overcome. It is an Electrum lightsaber. That is the material of which the hilt of the lightsaber is made, but neither describes it the colour of the blade nor the nature of the blade generating particles nor the used powercell. I think energy cell and particles forming the blade are the same, whether you're Sith or Jedi. 	Can somebody tell me what the "Frozen Blaster Technology" is? What idea stands behind that? Do you catch plasma, which would normally leave the blaster, in an energy field? 	I'm sorry for the triple post. Seems as if nobody is interested in lightsabers anymore... I had some profound thoughts concerning the curved hilt of Count Dooku's lightsaber. I think, when fighting single-handed it comes in handy, but if you fight bi-manual with it, you have some problems. First of all, the center line of the hilt doesn't match the center line of the blade which makes handling a curved hilt quite a challenge or an unnecessary difficulty, because you're in danger of cutting yourself if you hold your hilt in the wrong position. Secondly, the line of action is interrupted due to the bending. Imagine those situations where Luke and Vader hold their sabers press and pushing each other. If you have a curved hilt, you have to bend you hands farther than with a straight hilt, or if you're unlucky it even twists in your hands because due to the bending there is a gap between the center line of the hilt and the blade, and when a load acts on the blade, this gap causes a torque which spins around the center line of the hilt, and that causes the lightsaber to turn in your hands. -----signature----- Tutor to the language course "English for berserk" Temp work: Thread Killer Music: Geonosis - No Sith Of Mine

	Tell me: What is a Dual-Phase Lightsaber? I found that in the SW-Encyclopedia. I'd like to have a blind Jedi master wield that thing, but I'm not sure whether that weapon varies the blade length like the Great Lightsaber or if you change between two determined lengths. The color of a lightsaber blade is determined by the crystal used with in, and the crystal alone. The reason that most Jedi have green or blue blades is that they are using the most common crystals available. These crytals are grown virtually the same. The uncommon crystals produce a different color; Mace scrounged his from the bottom of a volcano, if I remember correctly. All manners of colors can result from different crystals; violet, orange, yellow, turquoise, pink, etc etc. But they are not connected to how powerful a Jedi is. -----signature----- Dark Lord of the DLC You're no daisy... you're no daisy at all.
