That is one of my favorite lines by Han Solo.

Han Solo to C3PO in ESB.

I can say one thing for Han, he loved his spaceship. I read in a novel where he lost it to Lando, and I thought he would die because he was so heartsick over it.

Now, a topic...Joy mentioned about getting this spaceship off the ground(referring to the fanclub), what do you think it would have been like for Han Solo if he never met Chewie? Would he keep the Millenium Falcon in one piece? Who would he have had for a co-pilot?

I know this may be unthinkable, Han and Chewie together is like peanut butter and jelly, but I think it would make for an interesting discussion. Quite personally, I think Han would be lost without him and he certainly would never find another partner more loyal.

I agree, and as for keeping his ship together, well, Han couldn't do that without Chewie.
Han and Chewie are a comedy all by themselves. What a team.

The Abbott and Costello of SW. tongue And I always thought that Chewie kept Han together also by being a moral center for him, preventing Han from completely becoming a scoundrel.

I feel the same way, Ludo.
In my opinion, Chewie was Han's guide, even though Han had two good eyes.

Before Han Solo joined the Rebellion, he didn't want to take orders from anyone but him.
He settled down after he became a rebel though.

Yeah, and Chewie helped him see the light, although I think it was always in him to be a good man, he did rescue Chewie from the Empire after all.

I am reading a Star Wars novel where Chewie and a group of Wookiees are in the Falcon, and they are going to rescue Han.
Chewie's son is one of the rescue party members.
The book is called "Tyrant's Test." If anyone has read it, please, don't give away the ending for me.
