	Hello, Saberguiiett7. Thanks for the response. I agree that the Count was a true Sith. What a unique Sith he was. He didn't seem to care about power and prestige like most Sith. Count Dooku seemed to me to be a calm and more civilized individual; a different Sith. Let's just let this be our topic for now. I completely agree. He was diametrically different than say, Darth Maul. Maul was nothing more than Palpatine's leashed animal. He was utterly unsophisticated and arrogant. Maul was expendable and unintelligent. Lord Tyranus, on the other hand, knew his limitations while knowing the power of the dark side. 	My favorite villain in the prequels is Count Dooku. He's sophisticated and polished, well-spoken, a refined gentleman; a fine example of the dignity and class of one from the ranks of the Jedi Order. But now fallen to the dark side, despite his own best intentions and ideals. And he's also very deadly in a duel, one you dare not cross. And his force powers are extremely impressive. I think Dooku is more of a dark Jedi than a sith. The sith who have been trained as sith from the beginning tend to have this almost overwhelmingly evil disposition about them, something they can scarcely control, and their intent is to do evil as a matter of course for their own selfish benefit. Whereas Dooku, being a great Jedi Master, retains the sense of honor and higher purpose of a Jedi Knight. He saw the corruption of the Senate, and having high moral standards (as one would expect from a Jedi), thought the Jedi should not be helping the Senate unless they cleaned up their act first. This is what led him to seek some means by which this corruption could be removed and the Senate restored to what it's supposed to be. That's not to say that Dooku has no connection whatsoever with the sith, he has studied their history and obviously gained some dark side powers and has proven so capable in his abilities that he has attained the title of a sith Lord. But he still has some of the qualities that his many years as a wise Jedi Master have deeply ingrained in him.

	I do not believe that anyone else could have done a better job at playing the role of Count Dooku than Christopher Lee. GL picked the right person. 	Indeed, he does. Dooku is one of the characters I'm looking forward to seeing more on in the 3-D CW cartoon coming up. He's almost always been presented (movies, books, comics, and cartoon) as being an intelligent character with wit in his speaking. 	I completely agree with both of you. Let's get this thread going again. I am looking for a new Vice President to help with starting topics and keeping the roster updated. 	There's plenty to discuss. Tyranus is my second favourite Prequel Sith, just below Sidious. A really intriguing character. How much of the EU do people know, around here? Because my favourite Tyranus moments are usually EU moments, like his participation in the Battle of Galidraan, or him duelling Mace Windu at Boz Pity. But the concept that he was Qui-Gon's Master seems to interest me a great deal. The 'master-apprentice' tree from Dooku to Darth Caedus is intriguing. 	I don't recall what he said, per se, but I do recall that he considered it inelegant, and beneath him to do so. Yes, Sinre, Dooku's linked to a lot of other Force-users. Via Qui-Gon, then Obi-Wan (And Yoda upon Qui-Gon teaching him to become a Force ghost), we get the training of Anakin, who becomes Vader and starts Lumiya's training, and Luke. And with Jacen/Caedus taught by Luke and Lumiya... Well, the line of descent is interesting.
