	Oh, I'm happy to see the Padme 'preciation pouring in! She is a great one! Here's a fav Pad moment: in AotC, chained in the 'arena' - She does not wait for the Jedi to perform some impressive Jedi tricks. 	Hello! I liked how Padme rescued herself. Padme kind of did what Leia would do later in the Death Star. While Han and Luke did not know what to do Leia blasted a way into the trash compactor. 	Ohhh, yeah, for sure....one thing Padme is not, and has never been, is any sort of mere "damsel in distress"....she's not a wilting wallflower by any stretch of the imagination. After fighting hard and fierce to save her people, and her entire planet - and waging different, but equally fierce, kinds of battles in the Senate - she is more than capable of rescuing herself, of handling most any situation....she's resourceful, strong, quick-witted, inventive - she's a tough chica, all right, and she stands straight, tall, proud and completely in control - all on her own. And talk about seriously admirable....and you know that Anakin only loves her even more for it! Like mother, like daughter, indeed....as you say, yeah - I'm sure that Padme would have been very, very proud of her self-possessed, stubborn, defiant, passionate, caring, immensely brave and very strong daughter....so much like her mother in this way, to be sure....but also with so much of Anakin in her as well.
