The Vanity Fair Article I was reading recently said it is going to be a simultaneous global release, and that their working on the dub work right now. Something like 36 languages... yeesh!
Sabe126, I love the tea room scene as well, so restrained and so much love, and so much pain. Just brilliant.

I was really, really looking forward to Atonement, but was quite disappointed in it. While it's beautiful filmed and the acting is amazing, I was upset I didn't like it.
Six degrees of Handmaidens: The actress who played Keira Knightley younger sister in Atonement (adult Briony) also played Rose Byrne's younger sister in the 2003 film I Capture the Castle. Nifty, yes?

I just wanted to let Lieutenant Piett know I rooted for the New York team for one of the few times in my life and they certainly came through tonight.
P.S. Just don't ask me to ever root for the Jets. I know it's been 39 years, but I have a long memory.

I've rejoined the land of the working, and so I'm gone the half of the day I used to get to be at the computer.
I miss you all!
I can't remember how long ago the post was, but I'd looooove a belt buckle. :~) I've got the idea down, but my rendering is awful.

Anyone see the Clone Wars trailers, etc., that have come out?

It was sooooooo cooooool when they debuted the trailer at C4! 500 people cheering and giving a standing-ovation to two minutes of Star Wars awesome-ness was an amazing experience. I can't wait for August!!!

I am excited about the Clone Wars TV show... should be interesting, especially given Anakin's new relationship... I won't say any more than that, because I don't know how spoliery people want to be. And I'll sign any petition concerning Handmaidens in it.
John Alvin
I'm assuming everyone already knew about John Alvin passing away. I only just realized today how much it affected me... because it was only just today that I realized that I have his limited edition Star Wars 30th anniversary poster that was signed by him. I bought it at CIV, and we spent a good fifteen minutes talking about his artwork, and how hard it was to draw Carrie Fisher correctly because of her distinctive features. It just finally clicked in my head when I was at work today, and now I am very sad. 
Also, in news that has nothing to do with anything: I'm moving!
To San Francisco!
In the next few months we'll (my boyfriend and I) are going to be going west coast! So, I'll only be a six hour drive away from all you LA-area people, instead of a six hour flight  Anyhow, I'm not sure when all that is happening, but frankly, I just like telling people because it brings it that much closer to me.

Did anyone read the news that Lucasfilm is sueing GenCon? You know what my first thought was of course? Because Opening Ceremonies sucked so much. Oh yes, I went there. Fine, they're upset at GenCon for financial reasons, but I'm still bitter. And now a little worried that we may not see CV anytime soon.
Happy three-day weekend to all those in the States that get one! Hope everyone has had a chance to see the awesomeness that is the new Indiana Jones trailer!
