Being a collector is not kid stuff
An idea for Jedi sparring session in AOTC:
Scenario:
We know Mace isn't too fond of Anakin at all times. There's a sparring session with Anakin and another Jedi - not to good (Coleman Trebor
). Anakin is able to overpower the other Jedi after a good duel. He gloats at the other Jedi, telling him "and I'm just a padawan." Mace is annoyed by Anakin's arrogance and decides to school him properly. He challenges him to a training session, where ofcourse Anakin accepts - thinking he's going to win that to. Mace then proceeds to toy with him at first, before he completely crushes him - leaving Anakin utterly defeated and humiliated. Mace then proceeds to help Anakin to his feet, looks at him gravely telling him not to be so arrogant again - then advices him about his strengths and his weaknesses, and that he must control his emotions, if not, they will be his downfall...
This way, you would get to see Jedi training, and you would also get to understand Mace, and his relationship with Anakin. (he may be tough, but he means well
)

much as i like to get one,I simply can't afford the Obiwan atatue.any money I have lying around would go to SW novels.sometimes I wish all fanfics here at TF.N gets published as they are all so interesting.
I do have action figures of both TPM Obiwan and Darth Maul,courtesy of my brother.Han Solo too.how come Wedge Antilles doesn't have any? I like him too.I get a lot of SW goodies from him and my late sister.I can still get him to buy books that are not available here.
Btw,what were your first impression of Star Wars from the very first time you saw A New Hope? I thought it was terrific from start to finish,I even had a crush on Wedge Antilles.I loved every thing about it,including the banters.

Well, my SW spending has taken a nose-dive in the last year or so. I just have way too much, and I now only pick up a book now and then, or perhaps something special if it's Obi-Wan.

roguegirl: i think it's safe to say that any SW present is very welcome, i know that's my case, cause i get all happy and excited when i get one
I remember the first time i saw ANH i was blown away... i remember the sandpeople made an impression on me (with their "big elephants")
, Ben Kenobi and Han Solo were the coolest characters ever( i must admit, i had a crush on Han and a bit on Luke...leave it to me to like the naughty guy more tsss), and that stupid Vader got away!
... needless to say, i loved it from the moment i saw it
arbed: i'm doing all right, sadly it's back to work today
but i just had lunch, and we all know what that means

Hmmmm....my impresion of ANH the first time I saw it.....hmmmmm
Needless to say, I was amazed by the lightsabers, the spaceships, people running around in space, and being totally scared out of my wits by Darth Vader. Some of those early impressions still resonate with me even today. I have trouble now even getting past my Darth Vader "bad guy" feelings from way back when.

Just a heads up that SWC has a policy that locks and restarts Fan Club threads when they reach 300 pages.
