Hi! Tico good to see you back.

And Commander.

Pick a question: Who uses Yoda logic in their daily lives and
what point do you use?

I bet I know Kelia's Do or do not - right?

Me - mild mannered little old lady by day and kick backside if necessary.

Been fine Tico, Lea-El, and everybody else.

Just been busy on the other site(sig link)...its a wild bunch at times but watching it grow has been rewarding.

I see this group is doing well as always....and that the writing is still among the best.

On topic to the last question...I probably use Yoda once a day at some point in making a decision.

His philosophies are co-mingled with my logic system at this point IMO...so whenever I really have something deep to meditate on....that vintage Yoda from TESB logic pops into my head.

Its too bad Lucas is so rigid in his stance towards future projects...because I see a Pre-PT film focusing on just Yoda and the Order we see in the PT as VERY interesting. In it we could see Yoda train both Dooku and Mace from little children....and later Dooku train Qui Gon. This film wouldn't so much be about the fighting as the philosophies...which I'm sure any fan of the saga would love to get more in-depth on.

I agree. That would make for wonderful films - there could be a few dark-Jedi, so we had some lightsaber duels also happy IMHO, that would be more interesting for the SW universe than the TV-series they are about to make...

I don't know about daily, but I use Yoda's logic quite a bit.

He was the wisest Jedi after all tongue

Surely you mean AFTER Coleman Trebor! That jump onto the balcony in the Geonosis Arena deserves a recognition in the Jedi Archives tongue

I think everyone is having trouble with DRL or gone to the off site club.

I thought this was the place to talk Yoda. Why another site was needed I don't know.

Thirty Years in a galaxy FFA. What is your best Yoda moment in real life or in the movies?

When the diminutive Yoda lifts Luke's X-Wing starfighter out of the swamp by the power of the Force, and Luke has previously failed in his attempt to do so, because he believes it is impossible due to the ship's size, Yoda demonstrates otherwise.
Luke: "I don't believe it."
Yoda: "That is why you fail."
Luke allowed the size of the object or problem to cloud his mind, thus hindering his concentration, and most importantly, his faith in the Force and himself.

This lesson is not just for Star Wars, but for Real Life situations as well.
No problem, in spite of its size, height or weight is impossible to solve, if we just believe in ourselves and the power within us.

I loved that ones appearance doesn't define you.

You may be little, green and advanced in age but you can still pack a punch. Thirty years later this has even more meaning to me.

laugh

I've never heard that one before. Who in the galaxy couldn't love Yoda with those cute ears, and as sweet and wise as he is.
Star Wars just wouldn't be Star Wars without Yoda.
