	AnakinGirl, I'm so glad we're giving you reasons to stick around. I was about to leave the boards too if this thread didn't get picked up. As much as I love Anakin, I think Obi did what he had to do. I believe this too. He was a Jedi, and that's all he knew. His one goal left as a Jedi was to destroy the Sith. He loved Anakin but he had to let go of that attachment for the greater good of the galaxy. That's how I see it. -----signature----- Obama/Biden '08

He loved Anakin but he had to let go of that attachment for the greater good of the galaxy. That's how I see it. but wouldn't the greater good of the galaxy have been if Anakin turned back? I don't think Anakin was THAT far gone yet. He was pretty far but not that far. The first mistake Obi-Wan made was letting Anakin believe that Padme had betrayed him [Anakin]. the second was that he launched into lecturing Anakin. Shouldn't it have been obviouse that Anakin wouldn't have responded very well to acusations and lectures.
