Too fast i hink. though i suppose with Qui-Gon trying to fix evert enjusice in the glaxy it would be rather naural for Obi-Wan to assume something like this.
Good thinking, that would probably be the obvious circumstance

RE: A Fateful Bond: The Anakin/Obi-Wan Brotherhood Fan Thread
Welcome
Darth_Father-in-law!
the reason I cried the most in RotS, was their breakup.
Me too!!
I loved the baseball signs. Really shows how good they are as partners!
Ha ha Alley I loved this part too. At first I was like huh? But then it was so cute.
One of my favorite parts in ROTS is when Obi-Wan goes to make a comment about Artoo, and Anakin says, "Hey, no loose wire jokes." Obi-Wan's response to that just cracks me up... it's great
That's one of my favorite parts too! In the novelization, Obi-Wan is puzzled about Anakin's attachment to a droid and vice-versa.
I mean i'm not saying Obi-Wan didn't care about Anakin I'm just saying that the bottom line is that the Jedi meant more to him [Obi-Wan],
I think it's because that's all Obi-Wan has ever known. Remember he didn't grow up like Anakin. Anakin was really his first taste of real friendship and brotherhood. He pledged his life to the Jedi so when it crumpled he was only doing what he had been trained to do from birth.
Okay WOW...I'm lovin this place, but now I'm upset because I finally have somewhere to go and now I'm getting busy!
Life is so ironic isn't it? lol

True. It seemed Qui-Gon picked up a sovuneir (sp.?) from every mission or something. Obi's room was probably getting crowded.

Yah, you have a point,
delta
. Obi-Wan didn't know Anakin all that well, so he shouldn't have passed judgement that quickly, but liek Alley, said it's QUi-Gon! Who knows what that guy thinks!

I think Obi-Wan was like guys today who are young. A little cocky and maybe a little arrogant here and there.
It's like how we do it in the real world. I myself pass judgment all the time on people I don't know before I even talk to them. Then later I find out they are the best person in the world. I think in the TPM we had a case of that. Obi-Wan didn't like Anakin at first because he pre-judged him. But later, after he got to know him, he loved him. It all worked out!
After Jar-Jar, who wouldn't be a little annoyed by Qui-Gon's antics? lol

RE: A Fateful Bond: The Anakin/Obi-Wan Brotherhood Fan Thread
Yes, I do think that people have passed judgement occasionally when they shouldn't have. Like Obi-Wan did with Anakin at first, I have passed judgement on people that I had just met, observing the way they were acting at the moment and not really bothering to get to know them at first. But then, as I got to know them, I realized they were actually pretty cool people, and are now my friends. I think, in that way, Obi-Wan and Anakin's friendship was very realistic and true to the way that people work.
anakin_luver: I hate how life works like that sometimes. Like the fact that I should be working on something right now...

I should be working on a project right now actually, it's almost done, lol. I guess that's good enough.
They should assign SW stuff in school. Then I would be motivated
great pic luver: The dialogue makes me cry like a baby though. That and the background music.

You betcha Equestrian! It is darn annoying!
You're right guys. That's why I don't blame Obi-Wan all that much.
I love this pic...and it also gets me excited because it (obviously) makes me think of the dialogue between
Anakin and Obi-Wan on Mustafar...incredible...

Ah school. That makes me wonder.
If Anakin and Obi-Wan were real people in our world today, what would their professions be?
I see Obi-Wan as a professor of some sorts.
Anakin as a rock star or something like that.

Thanks delta! And you're right Alley, he looks quite ticked off. That's why I love it...
Just so everyone is aware, for the people that weren't apart of the Anakin thread...I love evil Anakin and the more damage and pain he brings upon people...the more hotter he gets
Yah sorry about that...I just wanted everyone to be aware of that!
I can totally imagine Obi-Wan as a Literature professor at some top university iLoveAnakin...Anakin? I don't know...lawyer.
