All members of the Jedi Trials: All members are expected to remember that this is a game thread. It is most important to have fun. In order for the game to be fun, certain guidelines and rules are necessary to keep the game running smoothly and working well. As this is a game, users are asked to be friendly and respectful of each other. All members are expected to stay active and post regularly when online. These posts should be meaningful and contribute to the game itself. Socializing is acceptable within reason. The Trials should not contain pages and pages of only socializing. When a member is going to be inactive for a period of time, they should communicate this to either their master, the keeper of the Roster or the Council. Members who go inactive without any notification risk being placed on an inactive list or even removal from the Trials if enough time elapses. Younglings All expectations for members of the Trials apply to Youngings as well. In addition, they are expected to be active around the Trials doing tasks that prepare them for training. They are expected to work on post quality as they work towards their required minimum 500 posts. Spamming will not be tolerated. Padawans In addition to the expectations set for all members, Padawans are expected to keep in contact with their Masters. This ensures that they remain active during perhaps the most critical phase of their time in the Trials. Padawans are expected to get their tasks done on time and to do them quickly yet effectively. Any issues with a task should be communicated to their Master as soon as possible. Masters (of Padawans) Training an apprentice is one of the most important roles within the Trials. Masters of Padawans are expected to remain very active and involved for the duration of training. They should respond to any and all of their Padawan's missions within a reasonable amount of time. All tasks assigned by any member of the Trials are expected to stay within the rules and guidelines of the Trials and adhere to the TOS. Masters are asked to provide an example for the Padawan of how one should post in the Trials and around the JC. If a Master must be inactive for any time during the training of a Padawan, they are expected to notify the council to allow for tasks during the Master's absence. Jedi Trials Council Members: Council members are responsible for helping the order by helping its members. They overseeing the running of the Trials and guide the direction of the game. It is important sometimes for a Council member to be aware of when to act, most especially when it's not specifically asked for. They are the ones setting an example of how to post and what to post. It is very important that Council members have a good relationship with the members of the order and a high visibility within the Trials. The following are expectations for all members of the Jedi Trials Council: - Council members will work with members' questions and concerns, addressing them as needed and in a timely fashion. - Council members are expected to remain active in the Trials thread, posting several times a week. Posts to the offsite boards are not considered activity within the Trials thread. - Communication with the Trials at-large members is critical and expected from all members of the Council. - Council members must recognize when issues within the Trials are better handled by the SWC Mods.
