Congratulations, Deb! 
Congrats to you, too, Shrunken.
On the topic of what we want to see in Clone Wars...I basically agree with what Deb and Shrunken said. More Obi/Ani bantery bonding, more space battles (with Obi & Ani, of course), and more of Padme doing political-type stuff. More of Palpatine and his plotting (my goodness, have I alliterated enough yet?), and more about some of the other Jedi. So...pretty much more of what was in Volume 2 of the first Clone Wars cartoon.

Hi everyone.
Congrats to Deb and Shrunken  Deb, I hope you make sure your daughter is an Obi-Wan fan girl  
IA with everyone in that I really hope this series delivers and focuses on the boys, of course, and other characters that were mentioned throughout the prequels, but really didn't get any story or airtime. I still think GL could have made each movie 5hrs...but hey, that's just me LOL
I did read on wiki that some episodes will be just about clones  I really hope that was misinformation. Well, it's okay, I'll just skip that week LOL.
I have to say, I am MOST excited about Anakin's apprentice. I cannot believe I'm saying that. I always thought in theory that Anakin with an apprentice was a dumb idea. He does not seem stable enough at all to handle one, and why would he want one? And then we have Yoda GIVING him one instead, and I still say...WTF? I know why he's giving him one...to learn to let go of his attachments...still sounds odd though.
I wonder how she dies....

Anyone going to see the movie opening day? Not me...

Wow...I've not been able to stop by in a while.
The trailer looks amazing though! I wish I could see it on opening night Sadly I won't be in the coutry until like...the 22nd I think.

Personally, although I think it's a very interesting thing to explore, I can't see Anakin having an apprentice in my personal canon, for a couple of reasons. One, he's still just attained full rank and isn't very experienced-- I'd see Obi-Wan's situation as an aberration because of his promise to Qui-Gon and the fact that Anakin already knew him, and no one else wanted to take him on. I would think that they'd want the most experienced Jedi teaching the young ones, and not ones that they still have reservations about temperment-wise especially! Secondly, I would think the loss of a padawan, even an older one they haven't been with for long, would leave a certain amount of identifiable loss and wouldn't just be completely forgotten. And there is, of course, nothing else at all in canon that shows that loss-- there's no sign that Anakin ever had and lost a padawan, which I find unrealistic.
But as I said, it is an interesting idea to explore

I can see Anakin having a padawan theoretically but not wedged in between the existing canon movies. As shrunken said, something like a lost padawan would leave a mark. (Well, since I don’t think of this animated movie as “pure’ canon the way the original movies are I guess I can always subtract the padawan thing from the equation if need be It all depends, I think, on the quality of how they present the idea.)
However, given an AU setting where ROTS was to be written (and possibly the rest of the story) I can see Anakin wit a padawan during the Clone Wars. Though, I don’t think he’d really want one until after the war is over. But this is more of a fanfic-speculation thing.
