Thank you for your duty, PCC. The Bathroom smells so much better when I get the keys from you, as opposed to most of the Senators here. What perfume do you use? Is that an export from Planet Playtex?
As always, I am humbled and honored to be elected to serve this body. Senators, I will soon be posting the State of the Republic address so we can begin addressing the issues that face us in these troubled times. I will do this after I find the brave Senators willing to serve as my Vice Chancellor and Speaker of the House.

I will say, as an OOC type of thing, that i am not 100% attached to the time frame that I proposed. Most of the scenarios that I want to put forth can be done in just about any setting. I just thought that the natural frame of reference would be a familiar one with most players. However, if a majority of other players would rather play a different time period, I can tweak my State of the Republic to a different time period. My only goal is to get maximum enjoyment out of a maximum number of players. I say we put it to vote. Vote once, and once only, for your preferred time frame, by listing your name under the appropriate heading:
Original formation of the Republic (approx 20,000 BBY)
Post-KoToR (approx 3,940 BBY)
Post-RotJ (approx 5 ABY)
Post-Legacy Comics (approx 300 ABY)
In the absence of an officially appointed Speaker of the House, could I have a volunteer send a PM to all registered Senators to come and vote on this matter?

While I would prefer to play in a nebulus out-of-cannon timeframe, I was content to play after the ROTJ and I stand by it.
