Team Rufio
Lost Boys
Luke Skywalker
Ben Kenobi
Ulic Qel-Droma
Kyp Durron
Flyboys
Soontir Fel
Han Solo
Janson
Hobbie
Yes, That Is A Rocket Launcher In My Pocket
Boba Fett
Kyle Katarn
Wendy Ladies
Mara Jade Skywalker
Leia Organa-Solo
That's if I'm allowed to drop Lando for Mara, because my team's a little less hot than it is pimp, and Lando just tips the scales.
Plus, I like the idea of any 7-12 opponents trying to get through Luke Skywalker to kill Mara.

Hmmm ... are you planning on using Kyle Katarn for Non-Force Combat?
...interesting. I suppose we could "imagine" there are Force dampers on those combat fields ... not sure I'm entirely sold on it being okay, though. I'll let Kyptastic weigh in on it, since he'll also be commishing one of these ...
Anyways, let's get matches started:
Emperor's New Groove vs. Team Rufio
Yoda and His Merry Men vs. Ko He shin (winner: best team name)

Yeah, I was, considering he'd probably be used as a Jedi in the Draft at large too. I inferred that I could from this...
You won't be specifying Luke (pilot) vs Luke (Jedi). When you pick Luke Skywalker, you get Luke Skywalker. That's that. One round you can use him as a Jedi in Force Combat. Next round, you can use him as a pilot. Whatever you want. Up to you. You can use him just for strategy if you want.
Which led me to two possible scenarios-- the first being, you pick a player and you can play them anywhere, regardless of whether they've ever flown in space combat, are Force-sensitive, etc. You pick them, whatever you want. Thus, you could play Ackbar in the Force HtH category if you wanted-- totally stupid move since he's not gonna do anything for you there, but hey, your choice.
The second would be that relative experience in a particular category is required to be put in that category. Thus, you have to have flown in space combat to be used as a pilot, be Force-sensitive to be used in FHtH, et. Still, considering almost every Force-user (at least those on the board) has hand-to-hand experience, I figure you could still use them in non-Force HtH by this criteria-- even if, again, Yoda would get mashed if you did it. You could narrow this down to being required to have had hand-to-hand experience specifically without using the Force, of course-- but Kyle Katarn has that anyway in this situation, so I figured he'd be good either way.
Plus, personally, I prefer the first option. If only to see situations like the Ackbar example.

If it isn't too late I am going to drop Ventress for Jagged Fel and Tarkin for Pellaeon. If it is no biggie

You can add/drop up until you submit numbers, Talon.
I was pretty much going for your #1 there originally, Ken. If you want to put Thrawn in Force combat, go for it. If you want to put Thon in a StarFighter, go for it. Etc, etc, etc.
Just want to make sure we get Kyp's feelings on that, especially having Force Users in non-Force combat. Not that hard to imagine Force dampers, though it might make it hard to get some characters judged properly, as we haven't seen many Jedi fully cut off and still in combat.

Gotcha. Sounds good and makes sense.
And no, it can't be a Biggie, Talonbi. They switched to the regular old small-medium-large selection awhile ago. And aren't they getting bought by Arby's or something?
I should probably send in my numbers now.

Hmm, when I saw Ken's team list with Kyle in nFHtH, I assumed he wanted him from before he realised he was force sensitive (so, before Dark Forces 2)

Mace obviously takes the first, but the second is a doozy. What does prep involve?

I knew this would happen. I kinda hoped for it, minus the prep.
Ok, well here it goes.
First I am not sure what Mara Jade adds in a strategy wise. Although being assassin may help. It is my understanding that my understanding that Mara Jade will not be on the field right? So is in no real danger of dying. Therefore Luke doesn't have to fight to protect her, so he doesn't get this added edge. Both these my people would give Luke a good fight on there own, still losing, however, a good fight non the less. This is probably the biggest challenge Luke has had to face in a draft.
Well lets see what my guys bring
Count Dooku:
First off he was trained by BOTH Yoda and Darth Sidious. You know who else was trained by both, Luke Skywalker. Count Dooku was regarded as one of the best swordsmen in the Galaxy. He was said to be on par with both Mace and Yoda. Unlike many claims about other Sith Lords skills, there is actual proof to backing this up. He defeated an Obi-wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker trump, fought Yoda to a stand still, defeated Tholme, defeated Sora Bulq, defeated Asajj Ventress, General Grevious, Quinlan Vos, fought Yoda again and even hurt him a bit, he then fought Obi-wan and Anakin again, defeating Obi-wan before finally being defeated by Anakin Sywalker when he tapped into the darkside. That right there is a very impressive resume of lightsaber skill. But that isn't all he brings. He has a mastery over the force that few have. He has matched Yoda and defeated Obi-wan and countless other people with the use of the force. He has study many Sith holocrons and is a true Sith Lord. He could use Sith Lightning, telekinesis, hide himself in the force, I think force choke, and use the force while in the middle of a lightsaber battle. All this alone would give Luke a tough time. Not only that but he also excels in taunting his opponents. Now we throw in the killing machine that is Maul.
Darth Maul was trained from an early age by Darth Sidious. Although not known for it, he also is strong and the force and can use it in battle. But what he is know for is his lightsaber ability. Using his skill he was able to defeat many opponents including Jedi masters most notable Qui Gon Jiin (twice). He also defeated Obi-wan although his over confidence cost him, which is a mistake he probably wouldn't let happen again.
We throw both these Sith Lords in together and we have a one two punch that I don't even think Luke Skywalker can deal with, even prepped with Mara Jade.
I am afraid of Kens post
