Wes burst into laughter. This was the great slug that Luke had killed? Now he had some ammunition for his prank-maker. And this Yoda... where had heard the name before? Oh right, it was Luke again. Something about a great Jedi teacher of his. Wes thought it was Yoda. Or perhaps Yodi. Either way, he remembered that Luke had said that the Jedi had died. Which meant he was hanging out with two dead guys. Fun.
"This is going to be a lot of fun," Wes muttered under his breath.

Yoda snorted to himself as he turned around and began heading back the way he had come. He had given Count Dooku and Master Jinn enough time to get reacquainted, and he sensed that things on board this ship were about to get infinitely more complicated. It would be prudent to have all of the Jedi together, at least until they had more information about what exactly they were dealing with. He also knew that the Hutt and the Human that he had previously come upon in front of the Mess Hall and had then escorted to a safe place would have found their way to the rendezvous point.
It took him some time, but eventually, he got back to where he had left Jedi Skywalker.

outside Mess Hall with Jabba and Wes, earlier in the day
To Jabba and the human, Yoda said, "Know a place I do. Safe there you will be, until find better place we do." He was walking in front of them now, at his slow and steady pace.

"Hey, I don't need somewhere safe. I can take care of imps just fine on my own." The thought of evil Jedi attacking kept him following the small Jedi master, despite his protests. Wes knew that he did't have a chance against a Jedi, never mind an evil one. "So, where is this place? Somewhere near a source of food, I hope."
Wes tried hard to picture Yoda as a Luke-esque Jedi, and failed. But he had learned the hard way not to underestimate people. Hobbie was proof of that...

It was "kill the Jedi" that finally broke through the carefully-constructed walls that Qui-Gon had set up in his mind. He'd been able to channel things away from the main object of his concern: ensuring that Anakin was able to fulfill his destiny, but news of this other . . . twisted, tainted future shattered his concentration and seemed to send uncounted hideous possibilities cascading down upon him.
His answer came out in a hoarse half-whisper.
"Why?"
