As goes with all Roleplaying, god-modding is NOT allowed. 2. If you are eliminated/Murdered, you may not return in character. For this game, however, I am willing to be lenient. You may return as ghost, OOC commentator, etc... but do not abuse this privilege. 3. No inexplicable shortcut teleportation powers. In Sleepy Castle, there was a "poof!' epidemic where players thought it was okay to "poof! [insert x]" and whatever they wanted would appear or what they wanted to do would come true. Now obviously a lot of characters in this game will have fantastical, magical powers but try to stick to the powers they are known to have. You can have shortcut teleportation powers, but it better have a good explanation. Death in the GHOST SHIP EXECUTOR >>Murders will usually be final. In this game, however, I am going to make use of "resurrection" as a challenge reward. But do not ask for it. At the very most, only three players will have their characters resurrected by the time GSE has run its course. >>the punishment for elimination is a 24-hour ban. But you can sock it, so no sweat! >>Do not come whining to me if you get eliminated. Why? Because I'm not the dealbreaker. The Murderers are. >>if for some unforeseen reason, you decide you want to "leave" the game you will still be banned and your character murdered. Once leaving/quitting, you cannot return. Quitters will not be eligible for my resurrection twist. Winning the GHOST SHIP EXECUTOR Winning this game is no easy feat. You have a 1 in 58 (since two are the Murderers) chance of winning. However, all past Sleepy players have always found the game worthwhile, regardless of winning or losing. The Winner shall receive ONE WHOLE WEEK of VIPship. The Runner-Up shall receive 24 hours of VIPship. The final Murderer(s) shall receive no ban(s). A few things about Roleplaying OOC It stands for "out of character". If you have a question about the game or something else, ask it OOC. If you want to comment about something out of character, OOC before it. Discuss clues, murder posts OOC- then OOC before it. Or even just to socialize. OOC IS NEVER IMPLIED. IC It stands for "in character". IC consists of both your character's actions, thoughts, and dialogue- it is not attributed to just one of the two. So there should be no asterisking. THE IC IS IMPLIED. It does not need to be posted before everything. Remember, "in character" means just that- in character. Act your character but with a bit of yourself thrown in the mix as well (since that's inevitable). For the beginning of the game, please use IC followed by "as [your character]" so people can memorize who is who w/o having to refer back to the player list. It is your option to put your character name and SP involvement in your signature. Also, in IC, remember to refer to other players with their character names. In OOC, just their screen names. Remember, when posting IC, your character may or may not know about recent murders, developments, etc... those are the things that are revealed through RPing, even though players, OOC, know much more than their characters. TAG When RPing, you will usually be interacting with other players. The players you know your character is interacting with you should put a TAG followed by [other player's/players' name(s)], especially when there's a lot of activity in the game thread. This TAG goes at the end of your post, whenever you sue it. The first murder will be tomorrow night at 9:00pm PDT. There will be a challenge tonight. Keep an eye out for it. READ THIS READ THIS READ THIS READ THIS ~~~NOTE ABOUT THE PG-MG TRANSITION!~~~ ALL characters will have a "blackout of consciousness" and will "wake up" mysteriously in the Executor's detention block. Every character will have a cell to him/herself and will be incommunicado with other characters. Every cell has -ONE cot, with ONE thin mattress and ONE sheet and ONE pillow -ONE loo -ONE six-inch steel door -TWO air vents, one on floor, one in ceiling. Each vent's dimensions are exactly three inches by five inches. -ONE one-way intercom (prisoners cannot talk back) -all characters (yes, including Palpatine) are wearing detention block attire: white jumpsuit with serial numbers on sleeve. In the case of characters like Jabba, more like a hoodless poncho. -all characters' personal possessions, including lightsabers, are being held elsewhere (perhaps not in the detention facility!). -again, all characters are incommunicado with everyone else except their own thoughts. -Force powers may not assist in escaping these cells Good luck and have fun! 	IC: Obi-Wan As he was staring down Dooku, standing tensely at Qui-Gon’s side, praying his master would not listen to the Sith, Obi-Wan began to feel a sudden rush of what was unmistakably a blackout. He’d had enough of those in his time to know what it felt like, but this one seemed to come out of nowhere. No hit, no fatigue, not even the feeling of phantom fingers around his throat. But that was not the most usual or worst part. The Force was gone. Or rather, Obi-Wan’s connection to it was. As quickly as blackness appeared before his eyes, so did a dark shroud fall down in his mind, sending him more reeling than the physical blackness ever could. Just before he lost consciousness, Obi-Wan had the cold, grim thought that this must be Dooku’s doing. 	IC: Caedus Caedus had one moment been addressing Dooku and the next waking up in this, this, this cell! What was worse was he found that his possesions were gone, and he seemed limited somehow from using the force. He could still use it but it did not seem like he wouldbe able to use it against the cell. She struggled to regain consciousness. Slowly, she convinced her eyes to open and found herself lying on a cot covered in a sheet. Sitting up hurt a big, but she managed to get herself upright and looked around. A cell was laid out before her, she was imprisoned. Drat, what happened? she thought to herself. "CORRAN! THIS ISN'T FUNNY! WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU!" yelling at the top of her lungs, she hoped someone could hear her. "Ugh, what am I wearing?" 	OOC: I assumed from Cor's description that we knew all that (otherwise it'd be pointless), we just all blacked out at once and woke up in cells. IC: Obi-Wan Later. He had no idea how much later, for he was just as disoriented as before, if not more. But he awoke, groggily. Before he opened his eyes, he already felt nearly blinded by a bright light in… wherever it was he had been taken. Groaning, Obi-Wan put a hand over his brow to shield his eye before he slowly sat up and opened them. He found himself in a decidedly small and harsh cell of sorts. He had been fitted with some sort of white prison jumpsuit. He was all alone, and with nothing that could pass for creature comforts. The thin mattress, meagre sheet, lone thin pillow, and generally stolid look of the room paled in ominous impression, however, in comparison with his still Force-blind state. It was something Obi-Wan had only experienced a few time in his life, and never in such an immediate and inexplicable way. Though he had suspected Dooku, he had been taken prisoner by Dooku before, and that had been quite different. Obi-Wan had an awful feeling something far more sinister and broad might be going on here, part of this whole strange summoning. So it was entirely up to him and his faith in the presence of the Force though he could not feel it to calm himself, despite the grim situation. Even without his feeling it, the Force could still guide him, he knew. And that seemed a very necessary thing given his current situation. Not to delay a moment, Obi-Wan pulled himself off the floor with a grunt. A decidedly wobbly feeling hung about him and he could do nothing to dispel it. But if he were to make a list of ideas for improving his current situation, sitting on the floor would be at the bottom of it. Seeing the forbidding door before him, he instinctively knew it must be locked. But, never one to take something for granted, he pushed at it anyone. Naturally, it did not budge. “Wonderful,” he grumbled to himself. There was no time for dallying, but none for deep-set despair, either. The panic he naturally felt at having himself closed off from the Force was something he had to push firmly to the back of his mind, he knew, if he were going to get out of here quickly. Turning around, he glanced about the cell to see what he might be able to use. He noticed two small vents, one in the ceiling and one in the floor, and stared at them thoughtfully. Given what they’d found lurking about the walls in engineering, he wondered if there mightn’t be something here as well. It seemed worth a shot. So Obi-Wan took the bedsheet, rolled it up into a rope-like thing, tied one end firmly to the cot. 	OOC: That's what I thought, but I just wanted to make sure, because it becomes important when characters eventually get back together whether or not the plans we formulated can still occur, knowwhatImean? IC Yoda: Yoda was back among the other Masters, and was about to gather them together to talk when he had blacked out, almost in the same way as he had when he first got on this ship, but this time, he found himself imprisoned in a cell of some sort. He tried to use the Force against the door, but it did not budge. He would have to try something else. However, he did not mind his surroundings. After all, hadn't he lived in a little shack for nearly two decades? He studied the grate in the floor. He tugged on it with both hands as hard as he could, but it was held fast. He was small enough, he was sure, to make it through, if he could only find a way to remove the cover. 	IC as Zannah The last fuzzy memory she had was walking with Bane, plotting how to pacify the Force by being rid of all those who confused it. But now her master was no where to be seen, only the thick grey walls of a cell. She jumped up, furious with herself for being in this situation and reached for her lightsaber... ... Only to find it was not longer on her belt. With a yell of fury she punched the nearest wall, her knuckles letting out a few very loud snaps. Storming over to the door she yelled a few choice words at the thick metal, knowing she wouldn't be heard and not particularly caring. She would find a way out of this mess, but how was the question. 	IC: Corran Horn Corran jolted awake, sitting up in a flash as conciousness returned to him. His head then began to twirl as diziness ensued. He grabbed his head, letting it stabalize. After he had recovered, he looked around. He was in a small cell. He had no idea how he had got here. Last he knew, he was down in the engine room, looking around. He vaugely noticed that his clothes were changed. He got off of the cot and moved over to the door. Time to get out. He reached for his lightsaber..... but it was gone. He cursed to himself. His years of CorSec had taught him how to analyze situations and find a way out of everything. He looked around and quickly came to the conclusion that escape was impossible. So, he did the next thing he could think of. He shouted at the top of his lungs. "MIIIRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAXX!" He waited silently for a resposne. 	IC: Wes Janson This must have been Hobbie's doing. For the second time, Wes was stuck somewhere he didn't want to be, in clothing he hated, with no one to talk to. Only Hobbie was smart enough to know that this was the only thing that would drive him mad. He glared down at the white garment - he wasn't going to deign it with a better word - and wished for ewoks. A whole troupe of ewoks, with slingshots. He'd be out of here in no time if he only had ewoks. With a sigh, Wes sat back on the horribly uncomfortable bed to wait it out. In reality, he probably ought to be happy that he at least had a bed. And heat. Hoth was still a painfully vivid memory. But at least on Hoth he'd been able to run around and annoy Hobbie, Wedge, Tycho, and the rest of the gang. He'd even settle for being stuck with Jabba, if that meant he could talk to or annoy someone. He began examining every inch of the door, its hinges if it had them, whether or not it had a window of any kind. 	OOC: Well my Force powers are gone, because I said so already before it was clarified We'll just say dampened within the cell by... Force... dampners... IC: Obi-Wan Obi-Wan finally managed to pull the grate off the vent, though his hands were red and scratched by the end of it. Before he decided to see if he could send the rope through to some other vent exit in the extremely vague hope of catching attention, or better yet, of getting hold of one of the bug droids, he leaned down and shouted through the vent.
