symbol of the Jedi Order?

I was wondering what the symbol for the Jedi Order before the purge was. Was it:
1.) the eight spoked Bendu symbol
2.) the six spoked Bendu symbol
3.) the "winged lightsaber" symbol from the new Clone Wars.

I believe it's the winged lightsaber.

I think that the winged lightsaber is the symbol of the New Jedi Order (and Legacy era ~40 ABY onwards), but I'm not sure what symbol was used during the PT times.
