Question-if hitting planets and stars is dangerous in hyperspace, is there a danger of smacking into other vessels?

Well, there's always a possibility of that. Actually, you asked a really good question; a nav computer can't figure out if there will be ships upon coming out of hyperspace.

Its a thing such as deflector shields and hyperspace bubbles. This is why TIE Fighters don't have hyperspace capabilities - they have no shields.

Most ties have no hyperspace capabilities because they have no hyperdrives. The shield issue is secondary.

So basically, the shields kind of well, "shield" each other, to keep collisons from happening?
