The Star Wars Olympics
Welcome to a fun, new game in SWC. This is themed around the Olympics. Appropriate given they are about to start!
This is how the game works:
Eight people can sign-up to play the game. Three more people can sign-up to be judges (must get hosts approval).
The host will then list an individual event from the Olympics. The host will then post a randomized order of the sign-up list. Going in order, each player gets to choose one character from the Star Wars universe to play for them in the game.
The judges will then decide the order of the finishers in the contest, 1-8. Judges are encouraged to be detailed in their write-ups, but are not required to.
The host will then give the player three points for every judge that gave their character a first-place finish, two-points for every judge who gave their character a second-place finish, and one-point for every judge that gave their character a third-place finish.
Then, we will move on to the next event. Here, the same list will be used to select a character, but everyone will be moved up one spot (i.e. if you picked 2nd, you now pick first, if you picked 8th, you now pick 7th, and if you picked 1st, you now pick 8th). And we repeat this for 8 (or 16?) events.
At the end of the last event, the host will tally up the point totals. The players with the highest point total is declared the champion, and gets the title of "SWC Gold Medalist" and VIPship for a week! Second and third place get bragging rights for winning the silver and bronze metals, and everyone else gets a 24-hour game ban.

I'll go ahead and say that I'm familiar with pretty much anyone from movies or books... but I'll also research characters I'm not familiar with if necessary.
But that's only 1/3 of the judging
