you know as much as I like having this little tid-bits leaked out...be careful I don't want to know the plot even before you've hit script stage. I've regretted getting hooked in AOTC spoilers to easy more then once.
.....of course if I were to be able to help with them.....that'd be a different story altogether

in ANH,TESB, ROTJ or the EU?
Was the bad guy bad in the Other movies?
Is he/she a main Character in ANH,TESB, ROTJ?

Ok, in case we don't guess the villain, maybe we could speculate on the big final scene of Episode IX, which supposedly has already been written. The virtual sequels page says:
In October 2000 the last scene of Episode IX became the very first scene written. A few others for each episode have been written since then.
Will Episode IX be the end, or will it be left open for another trilogy?
The ending of Episode IX, as it exists now, would probably make another trilogy doubtful. The reasons for that will be revealed as the storyline unfolds.
Hmmm...the ending. Does Luke die? Does the galaxy implode? Does Jar Jar return and declare himself Supreme Ruler of Everything?

And the ending... well, it will be THE END. No, the Galaxy doesn't collapse or anything, but one thing is true: the saga of the Skywalker family finally comes to its complete end.

First Darth Antilles...next we'll have Emperor Porkins, lol.
I hope it's not a former Royal Guard. I never got into Crimson Empire, and I thought the Royal Guard survival plot point in Young Jedi Knights was pretty lame too. I just can't picture a Royal Guard as a replacement to Darth Vader or Palpatine. Not scary enough.
