I was just wondering if this was actually an active chapter because your website doesn't seem to have been updated since late last year. If it is well then awesome and greetings from Oswego, I believe you would be the closest chapter in this area. Anyways I've been a Star Wars fan since well aslong as I can remember as the movies are few years older than I. I've made a couple of posts and was looking for others in my area that shared my "intrest" in Star Wars. I'm not to good at sewing however I do craft lightsabers quite well and have a fine collection of hilts if you folks are interested in that, perhaps the real reason I am here is to find some people in the area to exchange knowledge with, mostly on prop and costume construction. Maybe something else as I also have intrests in film, cartooning, etc.

Welcome, Shadow!
I'm not sure the website was ever fully released. Last I knew it was still a work in progress, although I could be wrong. We've had periodic prop/costuming sessions. We do a fair number of parades each year. There's a group thats into doing fan films. We have people with various levels of involvement.

Greetings,
Just so you know you're not alone. I too am a Star Wars fan in Oswego. I am excited about the release of Episode 3 on DVD and will be fine tuning the projector this weekend for it's premiere showing next week. I have a small collection of Star Wars items, mainly relating to Emperor Palpatine.
Nice to hear there are others here from Oswego as well.
