They're going to have to go along way to find three worse than that one.

I agree with the top 3, am indifferent about the remainder. Craig is great, very close to the "book" Bond, but is lacking a little of the charm that made the movie Bond so wildly popular. IMO, both Connery and Brosnan, if given the chance, could have played a Bond far closer to the books, while maintaining their charm.

Sean Connery is the one and only James Bond as far as I'm concerned. And considering what Lazenby had to follow, I feel he did a pretty good job in OHMSS. Moore was more about the comedy aspect...one-liners and all that. Connery never had that many one-liners and stupid innuendos. I think Dalton did fairly well, even though he didn't really seem like Bond at times. He didn't have that suave but ruthless aspect that Connery portrayed so well. Then there's Brosnan... He seemed too much like a wussy. I don't know what it is about him. I just get that feeling. And Craig has some potential. In Quantum of Solace we'll see how he portrays the "Double-O status" James Bond that we all know and love.

Oh jeez.

Movies do not get cursed. That's only old tombs and places like that.

When there's a mummy rampaging on set, then I'll worry.

If nobody's eyes are falling out or it's not raining frogs, it's not a curse.

The new GNR song "Message For You" would make a great bond theme for this movie

Lots of movies have all kinds of problems during their shooting schedule. The bigger and more complex the movie, the bigger headaches. It goes with the territory and it's not necessarily a curse.

I'm currently reading a massive book called THE COMPLETE MAKING OF INDIANA JONES, it's got all four Indy films documented. Honestly, on both Raiders and Temple of Doom, the behind the scenes drama of those films really surprised me. I always thought they had been fairly smooth shoots, but they had endless problems with illness and injury and all kinds of things going wrong. Temple of Doom almost had to be shut down completely for nearly a month due to Harrison Ford's back injury that resulted from a fight scene. I was also amazed to discover that ILM, fresh off it's successes with two Star Wars films, was completely stymied by how they were going to create the effects for the final scenes of the ghosts emerging from the ark in Raiders. Their first effort was to try to do it with traditional hand drawn animation, and they spent HALF A MILLION DOLLARS screwing it up making useless footage that had to be scrapped. It was such a disaster you would THINK it was cursed. But they pulled it off in the end using other techniques.

I highly recommend this book for any film fan.

All films have their share of disasters behind the scenes. And in some cases, it's not a curse, it's just human error.

No, sorry. It doesn't pass the zombies/eyes falling out/moaning of the damned following the director around test.

Additional proof of curses:

Beautiful women being threatened by unearthly creatures.

Your producer starts wearing flowing, red and black robes and declares himself "The Disciple of Amon-Ra."

Also, if your producer demands a sacrifice of your lead actors, this may well be additional proof.

And yes, I know what it means for a movie to be cursed. I'm just having fun with Zaz, and by extension, you as well. tongue
