I'm going to miss Eva Green. She was part of what I liked about Royale and they can't really replace her. I just hope their storyline is strong. I have faith in Craig giving a gritty performance, but I worry a little about the writing.
And the product placement.

Because Bond fans have any sort of influence over the direction of the films (particularly those already well in the making)? And its a name. Is it really that big a deal what its called? Will a bad name diminish the quality of a film? Really who cares...its a name.

The trailer is encouraging. It certainly has that serious, stripped-down feel that separates it from the Brosnan Bonds, and it doesn't have any jokey lines either. I do think it looks even more Bourne influenced than the last film, with Bond rogue and on the run looking for revenge (Licence to Kill 2, anyone?  ), and a generally darker tone.
Yeah, I'm looking forward to this.
