cloverfield-I found the hand held stuff not as bad on the tv screen as opposed to the big screen. But then again, it could be that I had to sit 2 rows from the front when I saw film.
Still a pretty good film.

Apparently many people got up and left after having to sit through Deathproof. I can't imagine why...

When Grindhouse was released in the theaters in it's original entity, "Planet Terror" was the first film, not the second.

What? What are you talking about? Are you crazy, that flick was so.... Oh wait, yeah, it was total crap.
Here's my impression of that flick.
Slow and boring, mindless conversation that has nothing to do with anything...For an hour or so.
Bang! kick ass action and violence.
Then repeat.

clearly you have no idea what you're talking about if you think Death Proof was the first movie shown during Grindhouse.
the last movie I saw was Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Hilarious.

I just watched Daft Punk's Interstella 5555.
I thought it was pretty boring, and the animation was nothing special.

Next. Watchable, but Nicholas Cage's character had one of the worst hair-styles I've seen for a leading man. He could look into the future, but not into a mirror? What's with that.

Planet Terror - the long version .
was okay , fun , better than Death Proof , Rodriguez does a good commentary on it and the Machete trailer looked great .

"clearly you have no idea what you're talking about if you think Death Proof was the first movie shown during Grindhouse."
No need to be rude, oh mighty know-it-all.. I was merely relaying hearsay, which doesn't change the fact that the flick sucked.
And I waited for the DVD release anyway.
