Peril At End House
A pretty good Poirot film, the first feature length one they did, I think, at the beginning of the second season, way back in 90. Poirot and Hastings are in their absolutely definitive portrayals here. This series is probably the best Christie ever put on film.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Not a very good adaptation, but a good movie. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Warner Bros. should get some kind of award for keeping the same cast together for 12 years when all is said and done. Seriously, its an impressive accomplishment.

Iron Man
I thought Robert Downy Jr played the role well, and brought life to the character that made you want to follow him through and care about him. The process in which he went to the suit was interesting and providing a great backdrop, I thought. There were some kick *** scenes and the final battle was pretty neat. I completely forgot to stay after the credits, but caught up with it on youtube anyway. Not a bad movie overall, and pretty good start to the summer.
A
Was surprised and realized that this really is a comic book summer.

Ive actually seen 5 movies in the past two days, which for me is unprecedented. Anyways...
Saw Raging Bull (again). Never get tired of it no matter how many times Ive seen it.
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (again). Watched it with the nephew and nieces to prepare them for the new one and they liked it, too.
Cloverfield. Interesting concept but only a decent movie overall. Expected more from Abrams.
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Bad but not as awful as the first one. The Surfer was pretty much the only good thing about this movie (and Jessica Alba).
Iron Man. Saw it last night. I really liked it but I wouldnt say that it was great. Not on the level of Batman Begins or Spiderman but definitely miles better than X3 or any of the other recent middling superhero movies .
Oh, and Im glad that I stayed after the credits, too. Very cool stuff there

Currently watching Troy on AMC. There is some good acting, some bad acting. I'd call it a decent movie.
