Episode 9 was just too much WTH. Especially that Zetsubou fight.
Anyway I finished with both Kurau: Phantom Memory (which was a good show but not great, loved the music though) and Ghost Hunt (which was great, I really enjoyed watching it still Twelve Kingdoms is better )
I've started with Ergo Proxy, which is awesome so far.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is awesome, Gurren Laggan second arc is awesome first arc lasts too long and is good.

Bamboo Blade and Kimiaru are over 
Want more of both, tbh Actually, if there isn't more BB I'll get very annoyed. Probably the best series I've seen so far this year (better even than Shigofumi), and the ending was sort of vague (I can't remember who that person at the end was, unless it's her mother ). Plus, Tama-chan's got another 2 years in High School, so there should be more than enough for more Kendo awesomeness

That girl you saw at the end is Tama's rival in the manga (Rin's arc along with that American girl are anime-only arcs). Can't say I like the ending, its vague, different in tone compared to the rest of the series and they're basically telling us to read the manga.
Also there's not enough Toraji/Kirino
As for best series this year so far, personally for me I find both Kimikiss and Gundam 00 are better. And Shigofumi would have been better if it were 24 episodes.
As for the other endings, I think I won't bother with Kimiaru. I also saw the final episode of Minami-ke, I still think the first season was better although the final episode was pretty good.

I personally would go for Maria-sama ga Miteru, I admit its one of those you either hate it or you love it anime. And there's absolutely no action what so ever. Its a slice-of-life interaction in an exclusive all girl's catholic school with lesbian undertones

Well, I like the slice-of-life random stuff, so I'll probably give it a try. I've been putting Kanon off for ages now though, I guess I'll get around to it eventually
Kimiaru sort of developed another storyline at the end, then resolved itself way too easily, then went straight back to the fanservice
Haven't seen the end of Okawari yet, have to wait for the subs

The sub of the final episode Minami-ke has been out for four days now though.
Anyway like you I've been meaning to watch Kanon for a while, can't say it I'll watch it any time soon though.

I've just seen the first episode of Code Geass R2. I have forgiven Sunrise for the horrible Code Geass S1 ending, and it only took one episode to forgive them. A great first episode, animation looks amazing (as expected of a first episode, and of course HD ) and the music wowed me. I'm now really hyped for this show.
Also: Gundam 00 + Macross F + Code Geass = mecha fangasm.
Anyway I've finished with Ergo Proxy, and loved it from the beginning till the end, even the filler episodes in the middle (well the Disney one kind of bugged me, but luckily Pino was the main character so all was well) Still the show had me scratching my head in confusion at the end, luckily there's a blog with the director's comment which kind of explained everything.

Well although I know what annoys regarding Animesuki (I have another site just for that ) I do think it has one of the better interface out there, especially compared to baka.

Yes. I suppose the best way to describe the show is Death Note meets Gundam (mostly SEED and a slight bit of the original)

I had the exact same reaction.
That episode was awesome, from the Gold GM, Amuro's backstabbing, characters dying and then we have the epilogue with the Earth Federation (Obama is the president, lol ) Amuro's coordinators or perhaps artificial newtypes and of course Graham "Iron Mask" Aker (And I was pissed that they've given Graham the Jerid treatment).
Anyway October can't get here soon enough.

Just had a look at some of the new season.
Kure-nai... intriguing concept, but the art is awful. Don't know if I'll be able to make it through the second episode.
ToLove-Ru is lol Only way to put it. At least Xebec can get the art right now The concept is old, but it works okay
