So, I've now watched 12 of the first 25 episodes of "Chess Geass R1 Brought to You by Pizza Hut".
Been a fun ride so far, but episode 12 features the most innocent victim in anime history. Poor Table-kun. No means NO, Nina!

I think I'm going to die of laughter. First the new SayZetSen, which was very funny, and then, the new episode of Kanokon, which was so hilarious I think I'll never recover

Finished Ep. 21 of Code Geass. I don't think Euphie's story is going to end like I want it to. She's striking me as a Lacus type character. Only she still has the mindset of first appearance Lacus, but she's making decisions like final episodes Lacus. I don't think the naivete of the former fits well with the tough decisions of the latter. This can't end well.
Also: Royal family (that I've met), in order of my liking them. I'll go ahead and hl just in case there are those like me who haven't seen the series yet.
Lelouch - Hey, I like Light Yagami...this is Light with both an upgraded power and a downgraded power all at the same time.
Nunnaly - She's going to be the only one left standing, mark my words.
Euphemia - Like I said, she reminds me of Lacus. And I liked Lacus.
Cornelia - Seems to really like everyone that I've mentioned above. While she is brutal on the battlefield, she does it more from her upbringing than any seeming enjoyment of it.
Clovis - He was funny.
The Emperor whose name I've forgotten lol - Yeah, he's just a boring dictator.
Schneizzel (or however you spell his name) - I don't trust him one bit. He's too nice to EVERYONE. Mark my words, if Nunnaly dies...it's because he's all "Oh, Nunnaly, so nice to see you. Give your brother a hug. **SWORD**". Yes, I just compared him to Sousuke Aizen...but darn if they don't strike me as similar.

Finished with the three Bus Gamer episodes, besides the incredibly poor animation and the bishounen undertones it was enjoyable and interesting. Shame the entire thing felt like a pilot, wouldn't mind more of it.
I also finished with Ghost Hound, you know it was entertaining but it isn't the best Production I.G. anime, another episode in between would have probably left me less confused after finishing it.

I would rate the Emperor slightly higher, only because he's voiced by Norio Wakamoto Although I admit his roll isn't that big, seems bigger so far in R2 based on the three episodes. And yes Euphemia gave me Lacus vibes as well, the way she acted, the pink hair and Suzaku giving off Kira vibes (and piloting an overpowered white Knightmare frame doesn't help much either ) She didn't annoy me as much as Lacus though.

You should, the main female character gives slight Suzumiya Haruhi vibes plus the wacky comedy and the sometimes serious tones make it an interesting watch.
Anyway some comments on various spring season anime:
- Nabari no Ou, definitely a keeper its basically Naruto (well the characters aren't Naruto like but the ninjutsu certainly is) with a modern setting and without the fillers!
- Allison & Lilia, from the same writer as Kino's travel. To be honest I'm not really impressed but the travelling part has yet to start after three episodes and based on the OP it looks interesting.
- Vampire Knight, honestly if it weren't for the entire Zero turning into the creature he absolutely hates subplot I would not have bothered watching this reverse harem.
Ah well there are more series such as Kaiba and Real Drive but due to the nature of both series I can't comment about it after one episode, both look interesting and promising though.

Well, I finished with Code Geass, time to move onto R2.
Some last thoughts:
I hate it when I'm right. 
Random excuses for not watching FTW! Because now I don't have to suffer with that horrid cliffhanger and can just move onto R2 without the nearly year long wait. Sometimes it pays to come in late.
Kiss? Wha? Strangely not bothered/all that surprised when C.C. did that. But neither did I really see them ever kissing either. "I'll become a Warlock" line was made of cheese and pimp.
Poor Gawain, but I guess new series/season upgrade upgrade, eh?

Started with Kemonozume yesterday. Its from the same director as Mind Game, and you can really notice it e.g. same art style, both have fairly wacky elements and I love both. Great series.

Its actually slightly worse then that. Episode 23 ended in March and episode 24 and 25 aired in July. So basically I had to wait four months for the "final" episode just to see the entire thing ending in the worst cliffhanger ever.
And yes Lalah... erm Nunally jumping in between them and without knowing what happened, is highly frustrating

Heh, I downloaded and watched the 2nd and 3rd episodes of Vampire Knight. It's actually pretty good. Though the ED is the main reason I'll stick with it...

I've seen the Evangelion 1.0 You are (not) alone today, great movie. It basically follows the story up till the Ramiel encounter (so that's episode 7 I believe) The story changes are minor, so far but 2.0 will have some drastic changes based on the preview (zomg new Eva?!)

AiA version has been out for a while. But R2 04 was awesome, Rolo just fell perfectly in Lelouche hands, that was such an awesome thing to see.

As I think I said before, there's just something inherently hilarious about a show that knows its ecchi, and doesn't care, and then flouts it as much as possible for comic effect
