Yeah I think Thursday should be good.

Yeah, I guess it was okay. tongue Wow, what a great episode! I love it. Holly thinking that Kevin was slow...the new Jan situation...the Andy/Angela shocker! Great episode. I can't really say that I'm entirely surprised that there was no JAM engagement. I really hope that when they get engaged, it is on camera, not some flashback thing.

Amy Ryan returning to The Office for "at least" five episodes next season.

Good news.

So who's got the Season 4 DVD? At Best Buy we had this super-awesome gift set than came with a 'Michael Scott Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meridith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Run Race for the Cure" Shirt, Water Bottle & "Support the Rabid" wristband. grin

The deleted scenes are great though. It looks like they were planning on making the Dwight/Angela sub-plot a lot bigger through the season and Kevin had quite a few moments too.

For Season 5 I'm hoping Holly will play a big part, I was actually pretty upset they had Michael kind of going back to Jan at the end.

I got "The Office" Season 4 DVD set this past Tuesday, and have gone through most of it - I still need to watch the last two episodes. I don't usually watch this on TV, so this is the first time I'm seeing most of these episodes.

Based on what I've seen so far, this season was hilarous! Earlier this year, I had read some reviews by people who have said it's not as good (or as funny) as previous seasons, but I would have to disagree - if anything, S 4 is as funny (if not funnier) than Seasons 1-3. My favorite Season 4 episodes/sequences so far:

- The Fun Run episode was great - Michael's foolishness in eating heavy pasta before running, and then refusing water (because he wanted to feel solidarity with rabies victims) while running was incredibly stupid and ridiculous. It's hard to believe someone can be that clueless, but that's what makes the character funny.

- The scene (I think in the first episode) when Creed stole Angela's medication after the whole group went to visit her.

- The episode when Michael went out into the woods "alone" to survive was great - especially funny was the bandanna he made out of his pants leg.

- The episode where Michael and his staff made their own TV ad (that wasn't accepted) was great - surprisingly, their TV ad was much better than the standard one they were told to use by Dunder-Mifflin HQ.

- The Dinner party was very funny (in a very uncomfortable way). The scene when Michael showed Jim and Pam the table he had made was very awkward - also hilarious was the explanation as to why the sliding-glass door in the living room was broken - good stuff.

- The episode where Michael and Dwight went to NYC to party with Ryan was one of the best ones - very, very funny - the club scene when Dwight poured out the drink that those female athelets gave him because of his stupid suspicions (and their subsequent expressions) was hysterical.
Also funny was Ryan's drug-induced conversation with Michael about the end of civilization.

Also, just some general comments on the extras:

- The Deleted scenes are all very good, and, unlike some deleted scenes on other DVD's, these have great picture quality and are as interesting/funny as the episodes they're from.

- The full-screen version of the TV ad was nice.

Overall, great season. Let's hope the writers of the show can keep up the great quality in Season 5.

That was...wow. I really loved how they cut the episode, keeping the whole summer flowing.

Very well done and enjoyable.

I feel like a lot of the hour-long episodes stumble under the weight of the runtime, but this one really worked great. Loved the running goatee gag.
